Nova Interviews the American Athlete

I'd like to thank Nanny for her time she was a blast interviewing. and also if you're interested to be interviewed throw me an IM on SL or Facebook ;) enjoy everyone - Tyress Serevi

give us a small introduction about yourself
I'm Nanny Gothly - my wrestling nickname is the American Athlete. I started wrestling in SL in 2009. I began in poseball, as that was very similar to the Yahoo emoting style I came from. I ran across hud based wrestling a few weeks later, when I found Hard Knocks Wrestling Federation in a search. I met Louve McMahon, Kimberly Soulstar, and Jenn Parkin, and my life as a SL ACPWS wrestler began!

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Well, as I said my nickname is the American Athlete. I decided on it because I am a very athletic person. I enjoy tennis, and working out, and running, and swimming, and biking, and yes, even wrestling. Also, being from Washington DC, how could I not love America?

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

I was very active in the Yahoo wrestling community, and people started leaving Yahoo for SL from 2006 on. I opened an account in SL in 2008, and was not impressed at all. I didn't know anyone, and didn't understand how things worked, so I got lost a lot and was ignored a lot. So I gave up on it. After my very first Iron Man triathlon in 2009, I decided to try again, this time trying to find my Yahoo friends. And slowly I did, and met people like Stacey Cardalines and Rikki Reichmann - people I knew in Yahoo, who were really nice, and very generous, helping me get out of noob mode, making my avi look more realistic, and getting me out of my awful noob clothes. And I've been active for all but about 4 months since!

How did you get into SL wrestling?

I started as a poseball wrestler, wrestling for Divas. Poseball is a style based on animations controlled by a menu, and enhanced by emoting - more like a roleplay than temporally realistic play. It's fun but rather slow. I was looking around after a few weeks of poseballing, and found HKWF - which was an ACPWS hud-based wrestling federation run by Louve McMahon and Sugarcube Woller. I was there hanging out and met Kimberly Soulstar. We started trash talking one another playfully, and she was impressed that I could keep up with her. She started talking me into joining, and finally I did.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

well I love wrestling outside of SL - I have done it for over 20 years, but as we get older and have children and lives and things, our side passions become hard to do outside the home, so yahoo and SL help fill the gap sometimes when there isn't time rl. But as for becoming active in SL wrestling, at least Hud based - Louve wouldn't let me slack off and had me trained and tested within two weeks. she even had me test while on vacation at the beach! What a slave driver!

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

I have been a champion in three feds now, but championships have never been the most important thing to me. If everyone I have worked with, ever, when I am done with the sport, can look back on my match with her (or him) and say - "You know what? I had a great time in my match with Nanny", I think I will have accomplished what I wanted to. But don't get me wrong, I love titles too! ㋡ Seriously, fun matches are what I love to have, and I have had a lot of fun matches! I just want to continue doing that.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

I made my character based on the real Nanny - she's short, she's tough as nails, and she's fearless. I'm a face, meaning I'm a good girl - I have toyed with becoming a heel but it's just never seemed to be the right time. What makes me special is I come out - I entertain - whether it's talking a little smack, making some jokes, whatever, but I also make sure I know my match as well as I can - so that I perform it as best as I can. I hope people come to see nanny because they want to see a well performed match that makes them cheer, boo, smile, and get mad, all in the span of 10-15 minutes.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Oh my gosh this could take all day! lol! Well when I started wrestling, I used the All American, which is a cutter bulldog. Then I moved on to the Flag in the Wind, which I still use as a signature move - it is a flying cross body with pin. Now I use three finishers most often - the American Dragon sleeper, the SmartBomb, which is like Nikki Roxx's Barbie Crusher, and the Shock and Awe, which is a guillotine choke and body scissor combo.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

I joined HKWF in September 2009, so two years now.

do you have any Dream Matches?

I do. I'd love to be in something like a Hell in a Cell match with Vendetta. I think that would bring out the best in both of us. I'd also like to have any kind of match with Nina Prater - and hopefully now that she's in HAWX, that dream match isn't too far away!

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

hmmm. This will be tough. I loved the three way ladder match at HKWF between Jenn, Kashi, and Kimberly. I enjoyed watching Loody vs Tony at WS1. Even though I was away, someone called me and told me I had to turn on the stream for this next one, and I marked out so bad I almost peed myself - was Vendetta vs Akasha in the crazy hardcore scaffold match. Then the ladder match between Kim and Elisa, where Elisa defended her HAWX title would be up on the list because that was amazing. And finally - and this happened just this past Sunday - was Jericho scarbridge vs Bazza Windlow in the Las Vegas Strip Duelling Elvises match at Bytch School.

How long have you been in your current Fed?

I will speak of HAWX first - I was one of the founding ten members of that in January of 2010, so 21 months now. For DCWF - I joined that in August, so only a couple months.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

I have held several titles - the VWE Women's Championship, the HKWF Women's Championship, the HAWX lightweight title, the Hellkatz title, and the Hawx Cupcake title - but really what I accomplished here that is most important to me, and probably to the SL Wrestling community, was I organized and ran the Tamsi iNvitation Tournament in March and April of 2010, which raised 500,000 lindens for cancer research, and that I matched with my own money outside of SL. That is what has made me most proud of myself, and my friends here - how we banded together to remember a dear friend, and raise money for a good cause.

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

well if I were to go into battle with anyone, I'd choose the Fearsome Fivesome. That is the 5 women I trained with, learned from, helped learn, and just went through the battles with, in the early days for me in SL wrestling. The other four members of what I call the Fearsome Fivesome are Jenn Parkin, Kim Soulstar, Elisa Riddler, and Vendetta. If I had to pick one alone to be my tag partner, it would be Vendetta.
if you could be the booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who

would you pick for the Mainevent?

well I am a booker, so I can make dream matches a lot! But if I were able to take away the constraints of federation rules and all the silly drama, I'd choose Misaki Yumako vs Jenn Parkin in maybe a 60 minute iron woman match for the main event.

who trained you?

I was trained by four people - mostly Kimberly Soulstar, but also I was trained and helped along the way by Jenn Parkin, Akasha Faulkes, and Louve McMahon. And - well I train every day - mostly with Vendetta - she's always finding great new ways to make this sport more entertaining, and I'm always in awe of her.
if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Carrer to now can you tell us about that and why?
a top moment - wow. There are so many in 2 years of wrestling. I've had so many moments and so many accomplishments that I never expected I'd have. But probably it would be winning the championship for the federation that started me off. Winning the HKWF Women's title is probably my most shining moment to date.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Tons of people! Louve McMahon for not letting me slack off and start wrestling because she knew I was ready before I knew. Jenn and Kashi and Kim for training me and not holding anything back - for helping me grow into a solid wrestler from a rookie. To Seth Cameron for letting me sound off my opinions on him even when he didn't like them, and for putting up with me for as long as he did. To Elisa and Tyress and Rubie and Kashi and Jenn and all those who wrestled in VWE with me. To so many others I have run into through these two years that I can't remember at this moment but as soon as the interview gets published I say "holy moly I forgot XXX" . To Kelley Ariantho - who is an invaluable member of the HAWX management team and an awesome person and friend. And most importantly, to Vendetta, who is my partner in crime at HAWX. Well technically she's my boss, but she'll never admit to it....but she's my best friend here, my confidante, my roommate, and just the coolest person I know in second life. The things she does for me, for her friends, and for the wrestling community are spectacular, and her generosity knows no bounds.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

I began in HKWF, and have wrestled in MPW, and XWA - both predecessors to VWE, and of course VWE, and RAGE, and UHW for a special tournament for the Women's title, and for DCWF and of course HAWX, which I help run with Vendetta and Kelley

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Vendetta inspires me every day to try harder, to do more, and to think outside the box. For every HAWX PPV she comes up with something special that makes us stand apart from the other feds out there. She makes moves that are perfectly timed and painfully made. She runs a fed, which is hard enough in this second life full of drama and back biting and bitching and moaning and drama, and yet everyone loves her to death! How can you not be inspired by that! She's truly a special and amazing person.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

In real wrestling, I love the independent scene best and I love to watch Daizee Haze, Portia Perez, Daffney, Sara Del Rey, and MsChif. I also enjoy watching Lightning Mike Quackenbush, Los Ice Creams, and the Ant Colony. I like to think they all get mushed into a ball and thrown into my brain to make me someone who merges all those styles, into something unique of my own.

If you have a custom Attire what is the colors?

I have lots of different outfits, but to wrestle I almost always wear a flag based theme. And by flag, I mean the only flag worth saluting, and that's the American flag!

FED OWNERS questions:

what made you decide to start your own Federation?

Wrestling is a male dominated sport. You can see it at all the big feds - often there are 3-4 men's matches for every 1 women's match. However when you look at the rosters, often the ratio of men to women is 1-1. So it's obvious women want to wrestle as much as men do. They're just not always given the same opportunities. HAWX or Hellkatz Angels Wrestling Xtreme, was created by Vendetta for just that reason - to give women the spotlight for once. 75 minute men's matches are fine, but we want our time too. That is what HAWX is there to do - to provide that time to shine.

has there been any regrets?

A knee jerk reaction would be to say that not striking out on our own sooner would be my biggest regret, but I don't think that's the case. I think we picked a perfect time for breaking away from VWE and becoming a fed that truly any woman could join and wrestle in no matter what federation she was from. So, that's certainly not a regret. I regret firing two people from HAWX, under pressure form the federation we were associated with at the time. We fired Charisma Aries, being pressured that we might lose our affiliation with that company if we kept her. I also regret firing Maxine Endrezzi for similar reasons, although at the time I thought they were good reasons. After reflecting on that whole situation - allowing her to remain in management at HAWX was not the right thing to do, but releasing her completely was a mistake and I regret it.
can you name your top 5 Favorite matches in Your Federation?

yes I'd be happy to. The title match between Kimberly Soulstar and Elisa Riddler, which was a ladder match, is one of my favorites. Also I did a drunk match with Horses Morrissey which made me laugh so hard I threw up rl. That has got to be up there. I really enjoyed Vendetta vs Lillith Aftermath for the hardcore title in the scramble match. Also Jelly vs Bazza in the elvises match was hilarious and fun, so that has to be in there - even though it was a men's dark match in an all women fed, it was awesome. I hate to mention myself twice but it's a great match and was fun to do - but the best of three falls hardcore match that Ven and I did to mark our move from Blacksilk to MetaMix studios is probably up there too. I must sound like an awful egomaniac, but I think that's it.

can you name your top 5 Feuds in any Fed of SL wrestling?

well the one feud that was boiling when I came into wrestling was Jenn vs Kim and that was a great one so that has to be up there. I loved the short but very volatile Kashi vs Cinthia falmer feud at hawx. The competitive, friendly feud of Brakman Wylder and Alexius Gant was great, with lots of well thought out and innovative spots. Any feud where loody was a heel in the 2010 time frame was classic because he made it so. And the love/hate relationship between Acheron and Maxine, which started in VWE and continues in UHW, still hasn't gotten boring for me - they always find ways to make it interestign

Any Special Match you'd like to see? if so between who?

well I know one I'd love to participate in, and that's is me vs Cinthia Falmer in a 60 minute Iron Woman match - yes it's the second time I have brought up Iron Woman matches in this interview - it's kind of a theme for me.

has it been easy being the owner of a federation?

Absolutely not. Ven is the nice one and everyone loves her. I'm the disciplinarian. I scold those who are slacking off. I yell at griefers and barrier jumpers. I ban people. I hire people. I fire people. I book shows and make difficult decisions working with lots of egos. It's not easy. But in the end, when a show goes off great, it's all worth it.

as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

People not going to the source and asking whether the rumour is true or not. People would rather whisper among themselves and make the rumour grow like a week than cut it off and tell people to shut up about it.

is there any certain Federation you would love to work with your federation?

I have loved working with DCWF and OEW and UHW and XLW but I still miss my friends at VWE and would love for them to work with us again, letting their exclusives work with other women like these other feds have. They have all (those that have them) relaxed their exclusivity rules for HAWX, and I'd love to see VWE do that again, so we can see those dream matches of Saki vs Jenn or Ty Vs Paula or whatever!

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

well I think HAWX is the best of course, as I have a lot invested in it! After that, I'd have to say DCWF, as I like more wrestling-based action and less with the promos. Then I think VWE must be mentioned, as they have the highest value of production, so they appeal to a different but important audience. I think UHW is really coming up - I remember watching them when they started and thought - good lord what a train wreck - but then I remember, so were we at hawx in early 2010. UHW will become a major player, even more than they have. OEW, I think, needs to recombine - I have told David and Vince that in many ways, through many media outlets. I just can't get get my head around all these different feds with people from all feds mingling between. I think they need a rebranding, and brand consolidation, to become a major player again. Again, the views of Nanny are not necessarily the views of HAWX, or the intervierwer today!

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"?

There are lots of great people, but also a lot of egos. Mine included. I'm no saint, and I have my opinions on things and they are strong opinions and I speak them good or bad. I love where UHW, DCWF and HAWX, and to a lesser but still important way XLW and OEW, are taking to work more openly with the other feds. Yeah we compete a little, but in the end this is SL and the winner should not be the person who screwed over the most people, but the person who had the most fun. After all we're here to have a good time right? I think if we can get there and maintain that as a community, where people are having fun, and not sniping each other all the time, then we can call ourselves a success as a community.

any last words?

HAWX is live from the Hellkatz Arena on Thursdays at 6 pm and Sundays at 2 pm. There is also a combined federation show called Friday Night X on Fridays at 5, combining the talents of HAWX, UHW, DCWF, and XLW. Come on out to the Hellkatz arena and see us!

Nova's interview with the Icon Davidhawk!

I'd like Thank Davidhawk for taking his time i am sure alot of you will find this interesting! ;) once again thank you david :)

give us a small introduction about yourself
- Born in Boise, Idaho and was raised in a small town outside Boise called Kuna.  I first became a fan of wrestling in 1990 about the time Undertaker first appeared in the WWF.  I started Kickboxing when I was 7, started doing Tae Kwon Do when I was 13, did Karate, Ko Kon Do and Jukido for a year each.  I joined the Navy after I graduated High School at 17, did that for eight years and thats where I first got into Backyard Wrestling.  Got into SL in 2009 because of Star Trek Roleplay, and got into Wrestling on March 13, 2010.

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?
- I started out as The Renegade in my Backyard Fed in Virginia because my dad is a truck driver who's handle is The Wyoming Renegade.  So in SL it was just natural for me to stay as my normal character and be The Renegade.  Then it was clear the people wanted me as a face so I became a tribute character to Sting circa early 90's and changed to The Stinger.  Once I was transfered to AWF, I lost the facepaint and got back to The Renegade but now as a character I'm taking my rightful place as The Icon.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?
- As I said earlier, I got into Second Life because I was doing play by email Star Trek roleplay and someone suggested checking out SL.  I got into it and immediately found the UFS, a Federation Star Trek group.  Soon after, I found superhero roleplay and as a writer my creative juices just kicked into overdrive.

How did you get into SL wrestling?
- On March 13, 2010, Lex Umaga told me about his friend Derrick Zane and how they were talking to Savannah Mohegan about joining a wrestling organization, the SWF.  As a huge fan myself, I immediately said I was interested.  Met Savannah, joined SWF and then went looking for a trainer.  I found Morpheus Shelman of BPW and got trained rather quickly.  That same day, SWF had a free per view and prior to the show I was at the arena and Wither Winogrod needed a rookie as an opponent.  I stepped up and had my very first match that night.  Unfortunately, the future Icon lost.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?
- When I got into SL I didnt even know wrestling existed here.  So when I found out, I immediately jumped on board and started doing everything I could to learn more and help out as much as possible.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?
- I live my dream every week.  As a writer, I love seeing my stories played out and after we fo
unded the OEW, that let me live my dream out and also entertain people with the voice acting of DavidHawk Actor.  If we're talking about in the ring, my dream achievement is to one day face Seth Cameron.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?
- As a face my character never stayed down.  He took beatings all over the place and kept getting up.  It was a way to get people on my side.  Back as my normal self now, I get to let my passion, my agression out and those emotions come through in my voice acting.  The goal of everyone is to make their character believable and in my case, I'm just letting my real self out so that helps the people watching take hold of everything I say.  When I say I'm doing this to show my brother who the biggest legend of the OEW is, they believe it.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?
- I've had a couple.  When I was the Stinger, of course I had the Stinger Splash, which was a corner splash.  The Scorpion Deathlock which is just the Sharpshooter and the Scorpion Death Drop which is an inverted DDT.  But the move that I love more than any other is the NMP (Not My Problem), which is my catchphrase and its a transition from a Fireman Carry swinging them back off your shoulder into a Cutter.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?
- Just over a year and a half, since March of 2010.

do you have any Dream Matches?
- Like I said, I would love to face Seth Cameron.  Other people I'd like to face is Drewski Hoxley, Loody Graves, Derrick Cult and would love another match against Derrick Zane, who I started with and had most of my best matches with.
if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?
- Derrick Zane vs Francis Constantine (Buried Alive Match)
- Nina Prater vs Shelly The Bod (HAWX)
- Loody Graves vs Hulk Parkin (VWE Championship Match)
- Drewski Hoxley vs Vince Easterwood (DCWF Championship Match)
- DavidHawk Actor vs Vince Aftermath (Loser Leaves OEW Match)

How long have you been in your current Fed?
- With AWF, since July 7th, 2011.  Before that I was with OEW since Derrick Zane, Lex Umaga, Jedrek Leodhais and I founded the company in mid March 2010.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?
- Besides founding arguably the largest wrestling company in SL Wrestling?  (laughs).  I've been the OEW Champion four times, AWF Champion currently.  OEW Tag Team Champion with my brother, Jedrek Leodhais.  SWF United States Champion, NWE Intercontinental Champion, OEW Cruiserweight Champion and OEW Intercontinental Champion.

do you have a Dream Tag team PArtner/Stable members?
- I got to have a stable with my brother, Jedrek.  So I would enjoy teaming with him again as well as Bannock Ogg and Bryce Ketterley as a new type of The Outlaws.

if you could be the booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Mainevent?
- The easy answer is picking Seth Cameron vs DavidHawk Actor, but I'll go the other route and chose the alts.  I'd like to see "The Immortal" Hulk Parkin vs "Superstar" BJ OHare!

who trained you?
Morpheus Shelman at the BPW training center.

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Carrer to now can you tell us about that and why?
- I'd have to say it was the first OEW fpv-style Adrenaline where I was honored enough to face Derrick Zane in a Cage Match for the OEW Championship.  Thanks to some timely interference I took the win to become the first OEW Champion.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?
- How do I list everyone?  Definately Lex Umaga and Derrick Zane who helped me found the OEW.  Zorina Koray for giving us land to do it.  Willow Halfpint who helped build the first arena and a few since.  Every person who's ever been in the staff or on the roster or even in the audience.  I have no misconceptions.  Without OEW, DavidHawk Actor as a character wouldn't be as big as he is, so I have to thank each of those people who helped make OEW as big as it is.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?
- I started in SWF (Showdown Wrestling Federation) and during that same time joined BPW (Birthright Pro Wrestling) and AHWF (All Hardcore Wrestling Federation).  Then OEW (Over the Edge Wrestling) got started.  So I was working four at the same time, AHWF shut down and NWE (New Wrestling Entertainment) and ASW (All Star Wrestling) started up, so then I'm working five at a time.  SWF ended up with a huge walkout and shut down.  BPW didn't last much longer after that, although they're now back.  NWE didn't last but a few weeks and ASW only lasted one show.  Then I started the ICW (Impact Championship Wrestling) project as Bruce Dashuria, worked in VWE (Virtual Wrestling Entertainment) as "Superstar" BJ OHare and currently work in AWF (Assault Wrestling Federation).  Then of course there is my newest project the DWA (Digital Wrestling Alliance) which started with OEW, XLW and CWW.  But then CWW got thrown out for behavior issues, we added ICW and AWF to the Alliance and unfortunately XLW then left.  But with the beginning of WMW (Wonderful Maidens of Wrestling) and the return of EVW (Extreme Virtual Wrestling), DWA is doing well.

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?
- I like to say no specific person inspires me.  What I try to do is take the best of everyone I know and blend it into something that resembles what you see every week.  I've learned alot from Derrick Zane, Zorina Koray, Tiesa Piers, Nina Prater, Catalina Luckstone, Vince Aftermath, Stuart Warf, Loody Graves, etc... Almost each person that comes into the community has a special skill that they can do better than anyone else.  I never knew how to film, learned how to do that.  Profile pictures, didn't know until I had someone show me.  Same with clothing.  So everything I can do I owe to other people except for my storyline writing ability.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?
- Guys like Shawn Michaels and Chris Jericho are who I pattern myself off of.  Technical ability with the willingness to put your body on the line when a high spot is called for.

If you have your custom Attire what is the colors?
- I keep my attire tintable and like to change my colors.  My three favorites are blue, red and green.  But mostly its one of those colors with my logos in white.

FED OWNERS questions:

what made you decide to start your own Federation?
- Once we got into the wrestling world, Derrick Zane started thinking about doing his own company, but wanted to wait a few months.  Lex Umaga and I were talking and got too excited, basically convincing Derrick to do it alot sooner.  Thanks to Zorina Koray who owned The Streets where I was running a DC Superhero rp for letting us hold OEW there on her land, we had experienced builders and a DJ.  Right off the bat what made us unique was we didn't do videos we streamed music to reduce lag.  It was a great beginning.

has there been any regrets?
- In any choice there are pros and cons.  I have always done what I thought was best for the group and unfortunately that has cost me friendships, co-workers, etc... I always live in the moment.  I chose what I think is best.  Sometimes it turns out that it wasn't the right choice but I think more times than not I've been right.

can you name your top 5 Favorite matches in Your Federation?
- My top five matches in OEW would have to be...
- Derrick Zane vs DavidHawk Actor
- Nina Prater vs Tiesa Piers
- Vince Aftermath vs The Feral Wolf
- Jedrek Leodhais vs Ungangi
- Derrick Zane vs Curt Bombastic

can you name your top 5 Feuds in any Fed of SL wrestling?
- Seth Cameron vs Benbe Kirax
- Vince Easterwood vs Big E
- Derrick Zane vs DavidHawk Actor
- Nina Prater vs Tiesa Piers
- Nanny Gothly vs Akasha Faulkes

Any Special Match you'd like to see? if so between who?
- I'm waiting for Nanny Gothly vs Nina Prater.  These two are two of the most iconic women in the community and eventually it has to happen with both of them working in HAWX.

has it been easy being the owner of a federation?
- Not at all.  Its a constant challenge, but one that I have risen up to.  I have, thankfully, had people I could share the responsibility with.  There was a three month stint where I was booking and running all three shows each and every week.  That got rough but then I opened up and trusted new people, created a new staff.
as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good

what do you think causes these rumors?
- I think most rumors come from not understanding.  When DCWF and OEW began working together, everyone thought DCWF would take over the OEW, but that was never in danger of happening.  Another cause is spite when people leave the company they just start throwing out what they can cause they are hurt just as much as the people still in the group.

is there any certain Federation you would love to work with your federation?
- We have worked with PRWW, HAWX, DCWF, XLW and VWE.  At this time, we've shown we'll work with anyone and we'd be happy to work with everyone.  Thats the goal of the Digital Wrestling Alliance is to pull companies together in a non-competitive way.  Yes, I founded AWF, OEW and ICW.  WMW is Nina Prater's company, EVW is Maven Gothly's company.  This Alliance isn't just OEW projects, its a place where we help people who want to run their own companies.  If everyone wanted to be in the DWA, we'd love it cause then we could work more interpromotional stuff.  So there isn't any certain promotion, cause we'd like to work with everyone.

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?
- VWE - their production value is far and away the best thing out there.
- DCWF - gotta give love to the longest running federation because they've got talent to spare and are clearly doing something right.
- OEW - came out of no where with a fresh way of running the shows and blew up.  We dont do booking boards, we give you as a player as much freedom as we can to create whatever story you want to do.

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"
- There is a lot of hurt out there.  Some companies started because of people leaving another company and that hurt is still there.  I want people to remember that the community is constantly evolving and if you dont help it change for the better then you are the problem.  By working with almost everyone, OEW has shown that its possible to work well together, all the others have to do is be open to the idea.  I'm glad to see HAWX working with so many, but of course thats only for the ladies.  So for the men in the community, we have to work better together.  I'd be for a meeting of the fed owners to try to work something huge out.  Eric Stuart tried to get a huge convention together, something for everyone.  Great idea, but I'd love to see interpromotional matches at something like that.

any last words?
- To those of you who ever thought you could do it better, dont put that thought out of your head cause OEW showed you could have a different way and make it work.  Also remember that not everyone is their character, not everyone is who others make them out to be.  I've found out that even the most "vile" of people are easy to work with when you have a good idea.  A last thankyou to everyone that has ever helped OEW backstage, in the ring or in the audience.  We couldn't do this without you, period.

Nova Interviews Perfection

I'd like to thank Bryce for taking his time from Busy Real life to be interviewed i found it pretty much a good story :)

give us a small introduction about yourself

Small introduction...hmmm...simple. I am Perfection

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Well, to be honest, there we many different influences on the stage name "Perfection", and to be honest, I really have no clue how it all came to be. I remember as I was training with Derrick Cult, and he was just throwing out gimmick ideas and mentioned Mr. Perfect. Well, then, people were asking to design my tights.

Well, when people were making my tights, I thought it be hilarious to have the word "Perfection" written across my ass
Somehow, Loody Graves saw this and thought it was my stage name
So on my debut show, he had them call me "Perfection"

and well...as you can see...it stuck.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Well, I heard about SL about 3 years ago when I was underage...
But when I turned 18 a year ago, I thought Id give it a shot
Little did I know what my experience would have been

How did you get into SL wrestling?

I actually was looking for a way to earn some money. I had been on SL for a few days and was about to say screw it and go away forever. Then, on my last search before I was gonna close SL forever. I found the VWE.
I was immediately amazed by the stadium.
I started talking to people like Derrick, Loody, and Rubie Jules
I originally put in a application with a RL friend of mine to do a tag team bit, but never got a response.
VWE almost didnt have a Bryce Ketterley ha!
But Rubie Jules convinced me to apply again after I saw a couple of shows.
I was a total mark at the time. 100% mark

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

The People.
I became really good friends with people here.
I wanted to be apart of what everyone was doing, and ever since then I love every freaking moment I get here.
If I didn't enjoy being around the people here...my ass wouldn't be here.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Dream achievement...goodness I gotta sort through them ha!
I've accomplished so many of them.
Everyone has that common goal of being the top dog, the World Champ, of course.
but
I would say my dream achievement would have to be climbing the ladder...the right way.
No bullcrap, throw the title on ya for no reason. No handed titles.
I wanna say, I earned my chance at representing the VWE as the World Champion.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Oh boy, we will be here all day if I go into detail ha!
Lets see if I can narrow it down.
Besides, the spikey hair, the shiney skin, the short ass tights, and the bright ass yellow I wear...
I think it's my character voice talent.
My character just has the thing about him where he can be beat on any given night, but he just seems to pull it out almost everytime.
And he makes sure you all know about it.
He is so caught in this idea that he is Perfect. That when he loses, or something doesn't go the correct way.
It's not his fault, it's your fault.
He is a snake....in bright yellow.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

: Well I have one I use all the time, its the "Perfect Effect", a modified version of the Side Effect made famous by Matt Hardy. I also have a much less common one that I used at the Beginning of my career, and on Loody Graves at Frostbyte, called the "DDP" (Double Dose of Perfection), a Double Rotation Moonsault.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

1 year

do you have any Dream Matches?

Oh boy, this is gonna be interesting. I actually have a dream promo war. I'd love to promo against Vince Aftermath. Dream match wise...I'd love to be in some sort of Elimination Chamber sort of match. Against Adune Snowpaw, Brakman Wylder, Sam "The Man" Singletary, Alexius Gant, and Derrick Cult.

  5) Jennf Parkin vs Tyress Serevi at Wrestleseries 2
 4) Derrick Cult vs Sam "The Man" Singletary on Primetime
  3) Akasha Faulkes vs Elisa Riddler, the Electrified Steel Cage Match at Beginnings 2

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Well, I just finished up by tenure with Ascension, and my tag team run with Surik Oanomochi, but I wouldn't mind doing a bit with Tony "Lil T" Hanson just for sh*ts and giggles.
if you could be the booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Mainevent?
The Bunneh vs Stuart Warf in a fight to the death....no I am kidding...I'd love to see a cross promotion match...Derrick Zane vs Derrick Cult
who trained you?
The Cornbread Eatin, Ass whoppin, Son of a Gun himself...Derrick Cult

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Carrer to now can you tell us about that and why?

Main Eventing Beachbrawl this year. It was such a high point in my career. I joined the VWE on the Night of Beachbrawl. Who would have thought that the random rookie in the crowd that year was going to Main Event the FPV the next year!?

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Everyone who lost to me during my 26-0 streak ha! I know so many people didn't like knowing that a low carder was going to have to win against them. Derrick for putting up with my ass. Wildfire Morgwain for keeping me out of trouble and being Momma Bear to me. Seth Cameron for putting his trust in me enough to push me as far as he has, and not killing me in the process cause God knows we want to murder each other at times, Jennf Parkin for being the blunt, common sense thinker for me, cause I do lose focus sometime and I needed that kick in the ass sometimes, and finally, Loody Graves, the man who taught me how to be an arrogant douche. Awesome Inc was critical in my development.
and you Ty for being the hyper snowball bopper to keep stupid ideas out of my head lol and the inspiration for the "Oo a Coke" moment

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?
VWE Virtual Wrestling Entertainment

do you have anyone that inspires you? SL or RL Wrestling?

RL would have to be Aj Styles and Evan Bourne, their styles have been a decent influence on me. SL wise, kinda corny, but Seth Cameron. The guy puts up with so much and has done so much from nothing, that you can't help but admire the guy, and only hope to be as successful as him one day.

who is your favorite wrestlers in SL Wrestling?

 1) Brakman Wylder 2) Jennf Parkin 3) Adune Snowpaw 4) Sam "The Man" Singletary 5) Akasha Faulkes

Tyress Interview with the Black Widow Misaki Yumako

first off I'd like to Thank Misaki for taking her time to be interviewed i am sure you all will find it interesting as much as I did!

give us a small introduction about yourself

My name is Misaki Yumako and I am from the land of the rising sun, Japan. I was born in a small fisher village at the coast, but moved with my parents during my first few years to Tokyo. At the age of 16 I started with my first wrestling training in the japanese strong style. My debut was at the age of 17 and from that point I moved on to hon my craft to perfection. At the moment I am 31 years and have wrestled the last 4 years in the DCWF where I become Women's champion as well as Tag Team Champion. I am also HAWX Champion at the current time, which I won by defeating in the debut for this promotion the reigning Champion Countess Draconia Fallen

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?
People tend to call me the Black Widow, if this can be considered as nickname. I think the first time the name was mentioned or used was after I came back to the DCWF after a small hideous. I was in Japan to spend some time with my family, friends and my sensai, it was actually her who gave me the spider type of attire, which i used in my returning match. Eric, who was commentator at the time called me the Black Widow, based on my attire and my submission skills and the name kinda followed me since then.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you decide to join?
I was doing wrestling efeds at the time, which used the SvR game for simulated matches. Basically you created your character/wrestler and RPed that one on the forum, while the matches itself were similated. I heard at the time about Second Life from a TV report they did on it. So I joined to take basically just a look at the character creation, how good and advanced it was. I dunno why I sticked around in SL, but I did it and then I found wrestling in here too which was my Second Life since that day.

How did you get into SL wrestling?
I was bored of the usual SL activities that were popular at that time and like I said earlier I was a wrestling fan who did wrestling efeds. So one day after a half year in SL I just thought ... there must be wrestling in SL too. So I went out to find wrestling, it was a bit frustrating at the beginning as I found only the naughty poseball wrestling stuff. But then I had luck and found the DCWF or how it was called earlier on the SLCW. I was basically one of the first people who used that system that nowadays is the standard in all the wrestling feds. It was quite interesting to see how the system grow and got bigger to what it is now.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?
My Love For Wrestling.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?
That is hard to tell as I have accomplished pretty much everything you can think of in my 4 year spanning career. I was Women's Champion, Tag Team Champion and now HAWX Champion. This are things many people dream off, but if I am honest about it, titles are not an Achievement I wanted to be known for. For me the most important thing is to put on the best match possible ... a match that makes me sweat, cause of the intensity, the storytelling and the skill level that is require to do it. This is what I want to accomplish, the best match possible to give to the fans for their enjoyment. It is that type of accomplishment that starts over and over again. You think ya got it done and at the next show you try to do it again.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?
Honestly ... Nothing. I see not a lot that is special about me and my character. I mean I don't do spider things that would suits to my nickname like opposite to a voodoo based character who uses magic and tricks to confused their opponent. I am just a very disciblined person who tries her best to entertain the fans. I think that shines through that I have fun at that what I am doing. Beside the fact I am really good at what I am doing ... so if you consider this as special, then so shall it be. But for myself I am just who I am and for my character goes the same, which is just an extension of myself.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?
I know for the use of the Black Widow Choke which is also known as Spider Twist. It is a head, neck and arm submission hold which I use to make people tap. I also use an Air Raid Crash on special occasion and the Spider Bite ... The original version was an Gordbuster, but as too many people tend to use that move as regual move in their movesets I have switched to an Elevated Doublearm Sitout Facebuster, which is also known as Impact Buster.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?
I am in my 4th year of wrestling in Second Life, as long as the system is out we are using these days.

do you have any Dream Matches?
Hmm ... difficult question. But as answer i would give a No. Sure there are people I would like to face in the future like Nanny Gothly, Vendetta, Jennf Parkin, Tyress Parkin ...and a few more that would be interesting to face. But more because that people have a great mind when it comes to their wrestling styles and matches ... but I wouldn't call them dream matches. That is just a therme that the fans uses ...

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?
1:Ceri Denimore vs Misaki Yumako for the DCWF Women's Championship - Great MAtch I realy enjoyed it
2: Alpin Chriss Vs Tenzan
3:Morphous Shelman vs Celtan McMahon vs MadMike in a Bar brawl. -  all of them were drunk
4:The Match Series with Katheryn Blackadder for the vacant SLCW Women's title was great too
5:Antonia Faggarty vs Mad Mike ... where she drove Mike over with a Zamboni

How long have you been in your current Fed?
4 years
what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?
1 time SLCW women's champ (longest running)
1 time DCWF Women's champ
2 time DCWF Tag champ
DCWF Hall of Famer
1 time HAWX champion

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?
Not at the current time. I am focusing on my single career again, so beside some time to time Team ups with Paula, Tag teams are out of the window for me. The same goes for thinking about possible tag or stable members.

if you could be the booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Mainevent?
Curt Bombastic vs Derrick Zane vs Seth vs Numbers in a Fatal 4 Way ... with the person who got pinned got stripped of the microphone for 6 months.

who trained you?
I got my introduction to the basics of the W1 and W1 ACPWS system from Alpin Criss, the rest was learning by doing.

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Carrer to now can you tell us about that and why?
: I think it was in a match between me and Shiva Auerbach -  I had her on the ground outside and placed her arm between 2 chairs. After that I jumped down from the apron and hit a legdrop with the intention to break her arm. The special moment I will never forget was I jumped down and hit the move and one of the chairs I landed on started to take off hight in the air and flow over the barricade. It was such an OMG moment for me ... that was soo cool.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?
Hm that would be Paula Wilcox, Ceri Denimore, Cathy Grey and Jennf to keep up with my rambeling. - who not to

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?
SLCW/DCWF and HAWX

If you had the power to Create a Stable of 5 People from Any Fed who would you pick to stable with you and why? (Male or Female or Both)
I would create a stable which would follow the japanese strong style mentality, for the members of the stable I would probably pick Shinja, Tomoko, Ceri (she is my student) and myself. I might pick another male, but at the moment none comes to my mind who would fit in such a stable.

do you have a catchphrase?
I am not doing a lot of promo stuff so I am not sure about it. One of the phrases I liked to use was ... You got 2 Choices, You can Tap or you can break. The other one was a bit cheesy and went like this : Hit me as much as you want, but after 1 bite this story is over.

any last words?
Have fun enjoying the shows, we the wrestlers try our best to entertain you. So have fun ... and peace out :P

Also if you'd like to be interviewed either contact me on Facebook Tyress Serevi or on SL Tyress Serevi ;)
once again thank  you Misaki for taking your time for this interview!
