Nova's interview with Bryce Lexenstar

Welcome to another edition of the interviews! we just hit another milestone that being 5,000 Page Views! i am real excited about this! and I also thank this week's guest being Bryce Lexenstar i hope you all will enjoy the interview! Enjoy!!

give us a small introduction about yourself

Bryce Lexenstar: My name is Bryce Lexenstar. I've been involved in SL Wrestling now for about 2 years.

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Bryce Lexenstar: My stage name is "Bad Attitude". I've had it from day one simply because of my genuine lack of a vocal filter. However, it hasn't been until recently that I've truly come into the moniker.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Bryce Lexenstar: I used to do online RP back in an old chat program Vp/Halsoft. But when that reached a "Pay to Play" situation, alot of the people migrated here. The continuation of the original game waned, but I stuck around.

How did you get into SL wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: Malena and I were just strolling through SL when we stumbled onto an empty OEW wrestling arena. At first I was skeptical, thinking it would be rather tacky. But we came back for a couple of shows and I was just so entertained that I wanted to get involved.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: Well I was always a fan of Wrestling RL. My excitement for the televised stuff dwindles from time to time, but it's always there. So there was an interest. Then when I seen the actual product, it was just something I had to check out.

what was your debut like and who did you face?

Bryce Lexenstar: Never wracking. I am without a doubt my own worst critic, so I was so leery of going out there looking like an imbecile. Sadly, I don't get the privilege of boasting a monumental first opponent. My initial match was against Taylor Pain.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: I guess my "Dream" would just simply be able to have people remember my name and talk about how I was a thorough competitor. Both in the ring and on the stick. To know that I gave it my all everytime and that people enjoyed it.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Bryce Lexenstar: I think it's that I strive to make him balanced. He's brash and assertive on the mic, but he's also got the intellect to gain the upper hand. And in the ring, he's more than capable to get the job done. He's adaptable to whatever scenario he finds himself in.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Bryce Lexenstar: He has a few. There's the original "Riot Act", which is a vertebreaker. Recently he's adapted a couple more; the "Southwest Spinout", which is a pretty nasty spinning Impaler. And he has the "Del Ray Drive-by", and that is swinging reverse STO

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: Just a bit shy of 2 years.

do you have any Dream Matches?

Bryce Lexenstar: That's a bit of a tough question for me. I mean I look at any potential match as a dream. I would have to say working with names that everyone knows...Zane, Bombastic, Fury, etc.

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

Bryce Lexenstar: Just off the top of my head, I would have to say...Tiesa and Maxine's Hardcore Title match at HAWX's Summer Daze was a great display. Derrick's match with David at Immortality II just had the perfect elements of physicality and emotions to be amazing. Arcana's match with Honey for her shot at the title, the turn of Adriana just made an impact that you KNEW hell was about to be unleashed. The No Limits Title Ladder match at IW's Full Metal was just insane. And thought not really talked about, I would say Scott Hex's match with Buger Shan when he lost his mask. It proved to be a pivotal and major altering point for Hex's career.

How long have you been in your current Fed?

Bryce Lexenstar: I've been competing for Intense Wrestling since March.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: During my previous time with OEW I obtained the Hardcore Championship as well as the Heavyweight Title. With Intense I became the first, and current No Limits Champion. But as far as personal accomplishments, I would say that just hearing crowd response...getting IMs from fans as well as other Wrestlers, on a job well done when I get to the back. Be it a promo or a match.

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Bryce Lexenstar: Hmm, now this is just for my own personal grins. But for an inter gender stable; the thoughts of seeing a return of Heel Derrick Zane, teaming up with Arcana, Tiesa, and myself...just makes me chuckle. The thought of how absolutely brutal and entertaining it would be if the four of us just cut loose with a live mic just makes me chuckle.

if you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main event?

Bryce Lexenstar: That's another tough one. I _knew_ this would a question and I just kept stewing over it. I would have to say that I would go with Anarchy and Drewski, just for the sheer fact that they are both ridiculously resourceful when the situation calls for it.

who trained you?

Bryce Lexenstar: If we want to get "technical", Curt Bombastic and Derrick Zane initially taught me the ropes of the system. After that, I would have to say it's been a conjoined effort from everyone I've encountered. Hell, even some I've never worked with. You ask advice and hints, and some people simply make suggestions. I think with the evolving nature of wrestling, you're always training.

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Bryce Lexenstar: I think my top moment really has nothing to do with my "in ring" career per say. I think it would be that when you get a message from someone like Scott Hex, thanking you for being there and helping them get on their feet in this whole wrestling scene. Having him tell me that he truly appreciates all the help along the way and that he credits me with him getting to the success he's having. That would have to be my personal moment.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Bryce Lexenstar: The people I would thank? I can't really name out specific people, it would be every person that's given me encouragement, support, advise, and opportunities. As well as the fans that come week in and week out to watch us perform for them. Yea, we all love wrestling and would do it anyhow; but to know that it's appreciated and anticipated by people makes it even more worthwhile.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Bryce Lexenstar: As I already mentioned, I started off in OEW. After deciding to leave there, I went to DCWF for a short period of time, however due to some real life conflicts and whatnot I felt that I couldn't really give my all to them and that wasn't fair for anyone. Now I am in Intense, as well as returning to OEW and doing things at APW, aaand an occasional helping in at HAWX when I can.

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Bryce Lexenstar: There's a few actually. There's guys like Maven Gothly and Glen Dundren, who go above and behind to rise up from any and every 8-ball they've gotten stuck behind. Then there's guys like Bloodhawk, who you can just tell has an absolute love for what he does and is always 110% into what he's doing. Then there's the people like Ryan Fury, Derrick Zane, Broly Blackheart, Nanny Gothly, Vendetta, etc., that take their passion even further and do everything they can to run a Federation and provide a platform for all of us.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Bryce Lexenstar: I would have to say I look to the true performers. The ones that have that "It", they can turn you into the biggest fan and then make you snap and want to see them suffer with a simple gesture. The first one to come to mind current would be HHH. But I also get inspiration from the people that have that uncanny ability to just utterly manipulate with a mic, like Chris Jericho.

If you have a custom Attire what is the colors?

Bryce Lexenstar: They are black bike shorts style tights with silver trim, with my knuckles logo on the front, "Made In Detroit" on the sides. Along with black wrist tape, and basic boots and kneepads.

as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Bryce Lexenstar: I think it all boils down to the individual. Sometimes it starts over past grudges that can't or won't be let go. Other times it's over a conflict of beliefs. All in all I think it ultimately boils down to the fact that this is a virtual environment, and people tend to lean towards the belief that they're indestructible. If people would take into consider how they would handle things in their real life outside of SL, and approached it that way....it'd curb a lot of the issues. Folks tend to use their screen as a shield, and think that it won't have an adverse effect on alot more people than their initial target. There's a big ripple effect from even the smallest thing.

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Bryce Lexenstar: I don't really know if I can. Each Federation has their strong key points. Trying to meld all the aspects into a generalized top 3 is tough. It boils down to what people like. Each Fed has it's own vibe and feel, that's why there are so many.

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Bryce Lexenstar: The community as a whole has a solid amount of potential. It's if people can become the mature adults we all strive to be outside of SL that makes the change. Like I eluded to previously, if everyone would start taking any and all things into consideration before blindly firing into the darkness of an unknown situation, the sky is the limit. Until then, I think it'll be rough. The Community showcased what it was capable of for Give Back, we all need to tap back into that mentality.

APW Ignition Card:

Match 1 Phara Akula Vs Wulla Zeblin - who wins and why?

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Broly Blackheart Sr: The Extremist. How that came about , i was originally going to base my character off of Tommy Dreamer, but he looked more like a high flyer at the time, which is how the mix of Jeff hardy came into play

Tyress: How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Broly Blackheart Sr: Well, I was referred to it, by an old friend of mine, but i was running a slow Compaq at the time, and couldn't run second life at all LOL but i started getting into it, round, July of 2010

Tyress: How did you get into SL wrestling?

Broly Blackheart Sr: I stumbled onto it, when i first found Vwe, back in mid November 2010, so i figured why not give it a shot , i got nothing to loose, so i applied and was able to get in.

Tyress: what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Broly Blackheart Sr: Well on the nexgen, i have the rolling shooting star press, which doesn't really have a name to it, but on other systems it would be known as the blackout, which is the double diving knee, which basically, i would drive my knee's into my opponent's face and they would be lying on the mat looking up at the lights.

Broly Blackheart Sr.: it would most likely be a mixed Tag Team Derrick Zane And Nina Prater Vs Derrick Cult And Jenn Parkin

Broly Blackheart Sr.: I've been mainly trained by Akasha faulkes, and Derrick cult, Ive also had help from the side from Adune Snowpaw, Derrick Zane, Ryan Fury and Curt Bomastic.

Tyress: if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Broly Blackheart Sr: I would have to say my TOP moment, was opening APW, it started out with a conversation with my wife aurora, she said i should go with it, so i got with Scott hex, anarchy , toxic and a few others, and we pulled a roster together.

Tyress: is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Broly Blackheart Sr: Mainly i would like to thank the people who trained me, and everyone who's been at my side since the roller coaster ride began lol.

Broly Blackheart Sr: well as far as rl wrestling goes, i would have to say..... -insert elevator music here- none other then Austin Aries, he's got the mic skills, and he works the ring very well

Tyress: what is your attire based on and what is the colors?

Broly Blackheart Sr.: My attire is actually a custom made, one, its blue pin stripping with a pin up girl on an 8 ball,

Tyress: what made you decide to start your own Federation?

Broly Blackheart Sr.: i got tired of empty promises, and fake talk, so when apw had its first preview show we had a few people, which is how ignition got born.

Tyress: has there been any regrets?

Broly Blackheart Sr.: actually i only have one regret, but its more of a personal thing kept private.

Broly Blackheart Sr.: Truthfully no it hasn't, there has been very stress full moments, where it pushes on my nerves, but i still stay in there and keep shows going.,

Tyress: as we know there is alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Broly Blackheart Sr: Rumors are just basically a hindrance of someones true personality over time, people only judge by people's reputations, if people were to get past that, THEN it would make things a lot better.

Tyress: is there any certain Federation you would love to work with your federation?

Broly Blackheart Sr: Well as people are aware apw is aligned with hawx, intense wrestling and oew, which is part of the virtual world wrestling alliance. hence VWWA, but if i would want someone to come work along side apw as well it would have to be vwwf and uhw, they both have some incredible talent.

Tyress: if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Broly Blackheart Sr. (broly.yakubu): hmm it would be hard, to name the top 3 feds in sl wrestling, cause it would stir the pot, with other feds trying to get their name out there.

Tyress: what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Broly Blackheart Sr.: well from a year ago, it has improved with new feds popping up, give back 2012, was a great indication where the community is heading, when people put opinion's aside and work together, but the community can be a bit opinionated on other people, which is why "turf wars" do start some time.

Nova's Interview with Derrick Zane

I'd like to thank Derrick once agian for taking his time to make this interview and on becoming my 40th Interview since day 1! I hope that you all will enjoy this interview and i am still looking for more people to interview so hit me up if your interested! ;) anyway enjoy!

give us a small introduction about yourself

Derrick Zane: I am Derrick Zane, the self proclaimed "Only Name in SL Wrestling you need to know." One of the founders of OEW, uHw, and the V.W.W.A.

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Derrick Zane: The nickname "Only name is yadda yadda come about as a means to gather heat in a story line that was done back in my first run with OEW. The face of the company was being built to take on the big bad bully that was Derrick and in a promo I proclaimed the title as a means to underscore the promo I was cutting at the time, it just sort of stuck after that.

Who did you face in your First match ever and who won?

Derrick Zane: If I recall my first match was with David HawkActor back in Sinnies Birthright Pro Wrestling, and I can't recall if he went over or if I did. He might recall.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Derrick Zane: My birth date is a little misleading, I have been off and on in SL for about five years or so, I first came on when I saw a promotion about it on the Internet and found that it was a cheep and interesting way to interact with people from around the world. There was not a lot though that held my interest for long periods of time, not until I re-discovered the community.

How did you get into SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: I had been vaguely aware of it for a while before I got involved, but did not really understand what it was, I had thought it was a sort of combat hud, like the CCS, and as such I had a wrong impression, until I watched a few VWE shows back when they were still under the old name. At that time neither VWE or DCWF was interested in bring in new talent and there was no word on if they ever would so I tracked down Alpins shop and bought the moves for myself and a few alts, then set about learning it. That's when I discovered BPW, and through that Savannah's SWF.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Derrick Zane: I am a worker in real life, I know that there are many who make this claim, I do however have several videos that back up my claim, including a bit part in a truly truly bad film called Dragon quest. When I started wrestling in the real world, I was already fairly old, and as such I knew that there was only so far I would go, and I'm okay with that, but if I could share what I learned with others who for what ever reason would never even get that much of a chance then it was worth the time and effort.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: I've already achieved the first major goal I set for myself, I was able to pour what I know into a green rookie, and watch as said rookie developed into one of the best performers in our community, if I have a legacy its called Nina Prater.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Derrick Zane: This will seem strange, considering the Zane personality, but I don't really think about how much if any influence I may or may not have, I'm not a big self promoter, I suppose what makes Derrick Zane the heel good is that most everyone hates a bully, especially a bully that never quite seems to get his comeuppance the way we would lie to see. Zane the face, is I suppose a little less jerk and a little more the real me, if I, myself, happen to be special in any way, its news to me.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Derrick Zane: I have a few, the first finnish I used regularly was the standing power bomb, after that it was the Air Raid Smash, a vertical suplex base that ended with the opponent being dropped neck first on my bent knee as we came down, the finnish I use now is a standing Burning Hammer called "The Business."

Cornbread Yay or Nay?

Derrick Zane: I have nothing against Cornbread, but I'm more of a pie man myself.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: A little over two years now, closely running up on three.

do you have any Dream Matches?

Derrick Zane: Every match has in it the ability to be of a "dream" caliber. It just takes the right mix of psychology, chemistry, crowd, announcers and a give and take freely mentality on the part of the workers, so I suppose anyone I would face can be seen as a dream match.

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

Derrick Zane: I don't often watch the matches myself, usually I am involved in the backstage coordinating aspect of a show, but a few that I did get to watch and enjoyed very much were Ryan Fury Vs. Brett Braveheart at First Contact for the first Multi Fed championship, the then called Television Title, also a great match was the Prater Sisters Vs. The Style Queens also from First Contact. I liked the dynamic between Mythil and Big Evil at DCWF and I have yet to not like any of Drewski's work.

How long have you been in your current Fed?

Derrick Zane: OEW was founded by my speaking to Lex Umaga, who in turn spoke to David HawkActor, who in-turn brought his brother Jedrick on board. So with the exception of the year or so where I had left due to disagreement with David over the future of OEW, its existence, IW, Intense Wrestling, was founded by Ryan Fury who asked me to come back into SL wrestling after I had left uHw over personal issues, that was back in late December, and I have been involved with APW since Brolly Blackheart Sr. asked me if I would like to perform there, about two or three months ago I think.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: Nina Prater.

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Derrick Zane: I would like to have the chance to work with most everyone, but for all the progress that our community has made, there is still a lot further to go, so some people that I would like to work with, Benja, Drewski, Shinja...exct. I just have to accept that back stage politics will keep that from happening and focus on the things that can be done.

if you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main event?

Derrick Zane: Honestly, I would like to see a story line between Drewski and Bryce Lexenstar, the only issue is something like that you don't just hot shot in one night, if you gave me a three to four month run up to that ME then sure, I would say the same for a Nina Prater V Misaki match.

who trained you?

Derrick Zane: "Youth Suicide" Andre Verdun, also known as "The Evil Lonestar" as for here in SL, I tinkered enough with he system to learn the basics and got a lot of help from JWolf Viper and Savannah Mohegan

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Derrick Zane: Tagging with Nina Prater against Wolfy Kessel and his lady Izzy. I know I bring Nina up alot, but I have kind of a big brother/dad complex were in Nina is concerned, one of the proudest moments I ever had was to hear from the much reviled Eric Stewart that a promo she cut in the ring at OEW had got to him on such an emotional level that he was wanting to find Even Briggs, and do the avatar physical harm for firing Nina via Fed Ex. And understand, Nina had to come a long way getting past her shyness and fear of how people would react to her voice, that i think are my best moments thus far.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: Ryan Fury, Lex Umaga, Bryce Lexenstar, Tiesa Peirs, Aislinne Drakostuu, Maven Gothly, Glen Dundren, Brolly Blackheart, Scott Hexicola, Bloodjack, Giles Smithington, on and on and on. Everyone who gives of their time, and their selves to go out and put on the best live show that they can, who steps up to help pull the rope so to speak, that's who I want to thank, in what ever promotion you wrestle for, thank you for being you.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Derrick Zane: In order, BPW, SWF, OEW, uWs, uHw, IW, OEW again, APW.

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Derrick Zane: Yes, two names, and they are not the names that everyone would expect, Nina is obvious but not who I am thinking of. Maven Gothly and Glen Dundren, they are two guys who have had a massive amount of collective sand kicked in their faces by a lot of people, and many times justly so, but then when have any of us been perfect? But I name them because no matter how much people take a crap on them, they keep coming back, they keep trying to improve themselves and they still have the desire to give to a community that often enough wants to spit in their faces and dismiss them outright. If that's not inspiration then I guess its called something else.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Derrick Zane: I am the worlds biggest Roddy Piper mark and I will fight whoever else claims to be so with broken bottles and chains if need be. I am always inspired by Andre and Gorge Gonzales a.k.a. Carnage, my other real life trainer, and by the man that trained them "The Human Horror Show" Supreme, they are three men, men who didn't have to accept a guy who was obviously never going to make it to the New York or Orlando shows, yet they gave of themselves without question or second thought and showed me that a dream could be achieved, even if it comes around a little late in life.

If you have a custom Attire what does it look like?

Derrick Zane: I make all my own gear, with the exception of my wrist tape and knee pads, simply because I'm not that good as small line artwork, as for my ring gear its self, I wear MMA style bike shorts, of various colors, but dominantly black and silver or black and white when working heel and UCLA Gold and Blue or Dodger Blue and white with red when working face, combined with matching Wingtip style boots.

what was your goals when you founded the federations you've been in?

Derrick Zane: OEW was created as a place to A. provide a foot in the door for new talent to the community, as I said DCWF and VWE were not interested in new people at the time, so our idea was to give another place for people who wanted to learn a shot at it, uWs and its change to uHw was for myself a desire to work with people I was never going to get the chance to, bare in mind I didn't want to leave OEW in the first place, we simply couldn't come to an agreement. IW was started to see if the ideas that were taught to myself and Ryan from our real life trainers could actually work here in SL and I feel they are proving to be very relevant. APW is Brolly and Scotts baby, I just work there. As for the V.W.W.A. its not a fed, but more of an organization to allow for greater communication between member feds, as well as the vessel to create the first ever multi fed recognized SL Worlds Heavyweight, Worlds Woman's, and Worlds Tag Team champions. Some might think its all the same company, and yes I can see why that may confuse, but all one has to do is ask and observe and it will become very clear what the V.W.W.A. is.

can you name your top 5 Favorite matches in OEW?

Derrick Zane: Tiesa Piers Vs. Anarchy Fang for the OEW women's title at the first show I had as the official owner of OEW after my return, as it was an affirmation that OEW would not die, it might be limping and breathing hard, but its far from dead. The Buried Alive match I had with Francis Constantine, he was a guy who embodied everything that was good about OEW, hard work, determination, and a desire to learn. When he was looking at not having a home at the time, much less Internet, he wanted to be "removed" from OEW in a special way, that match was for him his reward for all his efforts and to my knowledge the only match of its kind ever held at OEW and ever will be held at OEW until he returns, if I have anything to say about it. Okita Thor and JWolf Viper put on very good matches when they gelled just right, most every match I had with David was solid and my favorite was the Thommy Connolly Vs. Even Briggs "Boston Street Fight"

can you name your top 5 Feuds in any Fed of SL wrestling?

Derrick Zane: I would say the biggest story that I am aware of currently is Even Briggs seeking to control all the member feds of the V.W.W.A. with his various cronies and the faces of the member feds trying to rally against him. My feud with Bryce Lexenstar has been interesting. I enjoy the hell out of the Fang Sisters vs. Tiesa Vs. Themselves Vs. Everyone they can get their hands on, and I loved the Nina Prater Vs. Arcana over at Hawx, very proud of her to see that she could overcome her fear and win that gold.

has it been easy being the owner of a federation?

Derrick Zane: No, far from it. There are some who believe me to be arrogant, or an elitist, I've even been called the "Illuminati" of Sl Wrestling, but i wont apologize for sticking to the tools that I know work, some claim that what we do is a role playing experience, but let me ask you the reader a question, when you role play, do you have an audience watching you role dice? What we are doing at every fed is putting on live entertainment, Pro Wrestling is simply the greatest example of high entertainment on a low budget there is, and the SL version should not be different, yes the physicality is non existent, there for the psychology should always be stronger and what may get me in-trouble with others is that they don't realize that there are choices they make that ultimately hurt them in the long run in terms of getting the crowds attention and keeping it.

as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Derrick Zane: A lack of communication, plane and simple. If all you hear is. "That guy said this." But your not sure if it happened, then go ask that guy. uWs and OEW were in the midst of a dumb ass bickering fight ob face-book and other social means a while back, each side would accuse the other of something bad but no one really wanted to talk like normal people, just accuse and hurl insults back and forth, at the end of the day, when all the smoke cleared it ended with uWs becoming uHw and a lot of hurt feelings on both sides over things that never existed, or never truly mattered, and what hurts the most is that there could have been great things both companies could have done together, but because no one wanted to actually talk to the other-side, it was all waisted.

is there any certain Federation you would want to work with OEW?

Derrick Zane: I am open to any and all, but I'm a realist and I know that not everyone is as willing as I am, do I like that VAW runs directly on top of my show, no, its a hindrance and it denies fans a chance to see both programs, but that's Vince's choice to make. I would like to see other feds join the V.W.W.A. but that's a choice each company needs to make for themselves, so I don't go hounding others about it. If others want to they will, if they don't, they wont and that's okay to, some one once accused Seth Cameron and Numbers Rossini of trying to monopolies all of SL wrestling, hell I've even said it in times of annoyance and frustration, but the truth is this, when Alpin released the system to the community he let the Genie out of the bottle, and there is no putting it back in.

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Derrick Zane: How would you rate a fed that would be A. fair and B. factual?

Tyress: whatever your opinion bases on :)

Derrick Zane: Every operation has its strengths and weaknesses, an arbitrary ranking is far from accurate or even telling of what each promotion brings to the table.

Derrick Zane: Well I'll put it this way, if I named DCWF the top promotion, I'm sure that there will be members of VWE who feel that they are, and vice a verse. To say nothing of the people at uHw, or IW or APW, or VAW, ext ext. A ranking of promotions without specifics, of which we don't have the time or blog space to get into would be folly

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Derrick Zane: It has come a long way, yet it still has an even greater way to go, its like any community of alpha minded people, its a chaotic, raucous, brawling kind of thing, but that is in its self a part of its charm, the SL Pro Wrestling community is a living thing, and its going to continue to grow and change as its component parts continue to grow and change that's why it's important to not just seek out new talent, but to nurture it, develop it and help all the new faces reach the pinnacles of their potential, so that they can continue the cycle, cause if we don't, it will stagnate and die, and if we let that happen, then whats the point of yelling and screaming and getting pissed off at each-other in the first place then?

Tyress: Ten Question Game! i will say 10 names/words say the first thing that pops up in your head..

1: Legend
A: Alpin Criss

2: Derrick Cult
A: The Other Derrick

3:  Best Gimmick
A:   Currently "Sir Giles Smithington the IV, XVIIth Earl of Wigan" The current OEW Television Champion.

4: Top 3 Hardcore Legends
A: Derrick Zane: Hardcore without meaning is to me is a watering down of the style, so with that I will name three names that most wont agree with, and that's okay, Okita Thor, Curt Bombastic, and Francis Constantine, each of them made the story matter in their hard core matches, in my opinion.

5: Nemesis
A: The Northern United States *Canada* Watered Down Stunt man Version of Derrick Zane, one Curt bombastic.

6: Top Comedian
A:  Benja, Sir Giles, Ryan Fury, Bazza Windlow, Jerico Scarbridge and if I may allow myself the indulgence, Derrick Zane.

7: Top Technical
A:  Vince Easterwood, Ryan Fury, Misaki Yumako, Drewski, and Maven Gothly, when he focuses and calms down, he's very good in the ring.

8: Top Brawler
A:  Big Evil, Ranma Yoshirro, Scott Hex, and his brother Damien Hex, again when he calms down and focuses on making the match more important then himself.

9: Best of the Best

A: Hard to say, without a specific category its far to vague a question to answer with a couple of names. Benja is great as a funny man, getting better as a serious voice in the ring, Shinja is great at making you dispell belife, Drew is the most white meat baby face I have ever seen, Lex umaga as Even Briggs is great at pushing a crowds buttons wit-out even locking up with an opponent, Nina is great for not just telling you a story, but pulling you in to care on that emotional level. I like to think I'm pretty great on the stick *microphone*

10: Who would you not want to face in an alley?

Derrick Zane: If the avatars were real?
Tyress: mhm

A: Vladimir Poliatevskia, Jacknife Mc Mullens, Exotica just cause that would be creepy, Benja I'm not scared of, I'd offer him a lot lizard and then run the other way.

Tyress: Kings And Queens these are not who holds current belts or was the best champions. but who you think are the Best in their division

1: King Of UHW

A: King: Curt Bombastic, as he knows whats needed to elevate the others around him.

1: Queen of UHW

A: Queen: Honey Bluntz, as she can work with just about anyone in the ring and give you a five star match

2: King of DCWF

A:  Currently the King to me is Mythil, to be that persistent, and posses that much longevity as he has and finally show everyone that you don't have to be a giant to get over in DCWF.

2: Queen of DCWF

A: Queen: Nina Prater...cause.....well just cause. So there.

3: Queen of HAWX

A:  Qweens: Arcana, Nina, Isabelle, Tiesa...exct exct

3: Princess of HAWX

A:   Princes, not sure I would call Bazza a prince, he's a card, just not sure its a prince.

4: King of VWE

A: If I had to name a king of VWE it would be Benja, for now. but there is a kid named John Struck who has his head on right, he's hungry to learn and whats most important he's humble enough to ask questions on how he can get even better, and that is way more important then I can possibly make clear.

4: Queen of VWE

A:   Queen? Nanners and Vendetta returning may be a one two tandem that will shake up a division that has been carried by a few for a while, combine them with Lilly, your looking at a breath of fresh air that's been needed for a while now, good things to come from that I feel.

5: King of OEW

A: OEW has been in a decline for a while, and its not the fault of a few as some want to claim, its the victim of situation, but we will rebuild, we will get stronger and we will continue on. Who are the queen and king? Wel

5: Queen of OEW

A: Queen is a tie between Aisline and Tiesa, the amount of work, heart and soul they put into it is without measure, as for kings, Bloodhawk is a kid who has a speech impediment, and many feel he is held back by that from being a successful performer much less a champion that people would want to care about, but his work ethic is such that if all I had was Bloodhawks on the roster, I would gladly go into battle and know I would come out on top.

6: King of IW

A: Over IW way you got Bryce, Bazza, Resin, Jerrico, Ari Lane when he returns after getting his college situation settled, though I'd rather he focus on that rather then SL wrestling,

6: Queen of IW

A: Queens are Victoria Vain, and the sisters Fang.

7: King of APW

A: But the Kings and Queens over at APW are to me, the Blackhearts, Deamon Rage and this monster of a man he found to tag with him, some guy called Abbadon.

7: Queen of APW

A: Queens to me are again Honey Bluntz and the Deviant Darlings.

Match Predictions!

APW's Ignition:

Match 1: Maven Gothly Vs Thommy Connoly Who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Both competitors have their strength, Gothly has that mean streak and killer instinct that you need in wrestling, but then again so does Connolly, but were I give the advantage to Connolly lies in his experience and the Celtic Knot submission he has developed, once your in the knot, you don't get out till old man Connolly lets you out.

Match 2: Angelique Vs Iris Who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Angelique is a tough competitor, tough and determined, but then Iris is a bit of a wild card, she's very mysterious, most in the APW have never seen her perform yet, so if Iris is smart she's been scouting, formulating a game plan while remaining an unknown quantity.

Match 3: Josh Poffo Vs Scott Hex - APW World championship match Who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: I'm a little biased on that one, mostly because it was one of Scott's fellow Sports Entertainment Extreme members, Bryce Lexenstar that put me on the shelf, so I'm tossing my weight behind Josh Poffo, not just simply because he's a great competitor, but simply screw S.E.X. and all its members.

Main event!: Bryce Lexenstar Vs Michael Karsin Who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Michale Karsin, why? Cause of no one is looking, I fully intend to hit Bryce with my car, three or four times...in a row.

HAWX's Scorn!

Match 1: HAWX Championship match - Nina Prater Vs Crystal Neutron Who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Nina Prater wins, because she has the heart, the talent and the training of yours truly backing her up. No need for crossing fingers, no need for clever words of long winded speeches, Nina Prater with or without gold is a champion, plain and simple.

Match 2: Jessie Kalil Vs Maxine Darkwatch - Non Title - Who Wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: I got to toss my support behind Maxine on that one, simply due to the influence of experience, you can't substitute it, you can't measure it, you earn it, and that in the long run helps you more then anything else.

Match 3: Anarchy Fang & Tara Duffield Vs Princess Aurora & Toxic Fang who wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Sheesh, can you have a winner when the Fang sisters are standing outside a ring, most likely holding sharp sticks and grinning? I would say that Aurora's strength is the factor, if the Sisters Fang weren't involved, but Tarra's fear of Anarchy is something that can't be accounted for.

Main Event!: Paulz Vs Isabelle Martinezwho wins and why?

A: Derrick Zane: Paulz is a world class competitor, make no mistake about it, she's got experience, she got strength and size, but there is some weird thing that drives Isabelle, some weird inner drive that makes her almost inhuman. I'm not sure who will win, but I'm damn sure its going to be an instant classic.

if you could give one advice to a rookie that just joined SL wrestling what would that advice be?

Derrick Zane: Ask, listen and learn. Ask your vets how things are done, and not just one, ask any who will talk to you. When they do tell you the answers, listen to them, even if it doesn't make sense at the time, it will later on, and finally learn what they tell you, absorb it, and use your new tools to always get better.

What is your thoughts on this Interview?

Derrick Zane: There are times were I feel that your interviews may be geared towards a certain section of the community, to the exclusion of the other half, intentional or not, most likely not, its still a feeling that a few out there share. Perhaps this interview will help to release some of the tensions and feelings of resentment. I am ultimately hopeful, its why I do this, if I didn't care about the business I wouldn't put myself out there for others to comment on, or judge or say what ever pops into your head when I'm cutting a promo on the stick. We all care and we all want to know that what were doing is appreciated. So for this time you have granted me I thank you.

any last words?

Derrick Zane: Do what you believe in, do it to the full of your ability, but remember you are one in a bigger community, and your actions affect the ones around you, so as the old saying goes, put good in, get good out.

I'd like to thank you readers and i hope you enjoyed it! I'd also like to thank those who plugs this blog on their shows week in and week out those being HAWX,VWE and UHW three great federations if you want your federation or place to have a logo on the blog with link to your site hit me up and we'll see what we can do! check them out! they all rock! until next week with a new interview! have a good weekend!

Nova's Interview with Tara Duffield

I'd like to thank Tara for her time to make this interview i know she has been wanting and waiting to do this for a long time Here was her chance Enjoy!

Tyress : Give us a small introduction about yourself.

Lady Tara: Well, I'm from the uk. Came on sl to see what it was like, then did pose ball and found my way into hud.  I met Eric and he gave me an application.  RL wise I've little knowledge on wrestling but found it fun.

Tyress : IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Lady Tara : Well, funny answer. I mentioned to Eric I was from uk and he said so your all royal etc and I though well no but it seemed like a good idea. So, I became queen of wrestling and made the longest intro going and annoys every one who has to introduce me and my character is hated just by turning up.

Tyress : How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Lady Tara : Well, I was messing on the web and I saw a thing on SL. It looked interesting so I joined but was hard not knowing any one but I soon found Friends and joined pose ball groups made a name for myself then found DCWF and not looked back.

Tyress : How did you get into SL wrestling?

Lady Tara : I wandered into divas sim, met some nice people and tried using mats and found it fun. Because pose ball is all about emotes and I found a talent for it. Now, I'm considered one of the best at it. I make good money at it and it's very fun.

Tyress : What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Lady Tara : Well, it was something I wanted to try. I've watched some matches and I thought I'd give it a try. Plus, I have had fights rl but just cat fights. It seemed interesting and fun and the money was good ( Pose ball Wrestling ).

Tyress : What was your First Match like in Hud Based SL Wrestling like?

Lady Tara : Nerve wracking. I faced my trainer, and I was so nervous backstage. The hardest part is the waiting and hoping you don't mess up. Luckily, I had a great trainer and match went well.

Tyress : Who won your Debut match?

Lady Tara : He did, but I did ok. It's a thing we did that we lose our opening match.

Tyress : Do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Lady Tara : Well, I want to be famous and known and be recognised for what I can do. It's hard for females to break into wrestling in hud but with such names as Ven (Vendetta) , Honey (Honey Bluntz) , Nina (Nina Prater) , Scar (Scarlette Abeyante-Hoxley) and Anarchy (Anarchy Fang) ; I want to be like them.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Lady Tara : Well, hehehe my arrogance and attitude and fact I can piss people off by just been there.
I'm a royal bitch and I'm so (stuck) up myself it winds fans up. I get a lot of heat and pride myself in that.

Tyress : What is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Lady Tara : I have two moves I use.

One is the Style Sault. It's a flip - move into a moonsault. one of best moves in SL. I call it the Style Sault cause it's stylish. Not just your average moonsault.
The other move I use is the London Bridge and it's a cradle hold into a slam. I call it that from the nursery rhyme : London Bridge Is Falling Down.

Tyress : How long have you been in SL wrestling?

Lady Tara : Well a while now. I've been in DCWF since just before WF2 (Wrestlefest 2) where I won the womans title which was unexpected. So I guess I'm now a vet, but it's still new to me. There's so many great wrestlers out there. So about 3 years btw.

Tyress : Do you have any Dream Matches?

Lady Tara : Yes, I do. I'd love to face Ven in a hardcore match and just go nuts. Also I'd like to face Arcana, both are at hawx. DCWF wise I've faced every female there but if I'm honest my dream matches so far have been with Horses (Horses Morrisey). We have a great chemistry. I want to do a match that will make people talk about it months down the line.

Tyress : If you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation, which has been your favorites?

Lady Tara : Well, I had a fun match with horses at war zone. We did a bra and panties death match which was hilarious. We used weapons no one else tried to. Any match with Ven. She's just awesome in what she does. I saw her do a cage match once and it blew me away. 2 - The DCWF elimination chamber, the female one. The girls really showed their stuff and was the best match of the event. 3 - My buried alive match that I did with Brianna. We really spent time on it and went well. Even though I lost, it was a good match. 4 - My hardcore match with Broly. It was a match most thought would be bad, but we turned it into a great match. I took a dive from a second tier down some steps. 5 - Arcana v Maxine (Maxine Endrizzi - Darkwatch) in a NHB (No Holds Barred) match. They were just awesome with what they did.

Tyress : How long have you been in your current Fed?

Lady Tara : Over 3 years. I've stayed in same fed since joining and I am in HAWX.

Tyress : What have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Lady Tara : I'm a 2 time womens champ at DCWF and the current champ. Probably most hated champ in history. I've won tag titles both in DCWF and HAWX with my now ex partner Heidih Himmel as the Style Queens. We were considered the best tag team in SL. Also I've won 2 Plexis (ed. note - DCWF achievement award) which I treasure.

Tyress : Do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Lady Tara : Yes, Anarchy. She's so evil. Also, I'd love to team with Ven. I think we could really rock. But I'm not taking anything from my ex partner, Heidi. We showed our skills and gelled right away. We made the Style Queens known in the community and Heidi is a great partner.

Tyress : If you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main Event?

Lady Tara : Ooh, good question and I have to say it would be a female main event. Because, honestly, females work harder and put on a better showing. So if I could book a main event, I'd put Ven v Anarchy in a hardcore cage match cause it would be chaotic.

Tyress : Who trained you?

Lady Tara : Waroop Bravin. He taught me the ropes. He is a great guy,
but if I may say this : you train in each match. Every match I do, I learn something new and theres always room to improve yourself.

Tyress : If you have a top moment since the beginning of your Career to now, can you tell us about that and why?

Lady Tara : Well, and this is really funny, but my tiara day. I did a promo that re - defined promos. The heat I got was off the scale. I got told after that there's heat then there's Tara heat. I came out carried in a sedan chair and had ring decorated ( big thanks to Sierra (Sierra Charisma) on that. She was awesome ) but the whole concept suited my character cause I just won the female title and I had a sickeningly sweet vid played and although I got tossed into a cake was my crowning moment. RL I was in tears of laughter cause of heat i got from it.

Tyress : Is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Lady Tara : Yes. Loads really. Numbers (Numbers Rossini) for putting up with men Nina, Scar, Horses, Anarchy; tbh every one I know in the hud family. They made me feel welcome and although my character is a bitch, I'm nice behind the scenes and the way I'm treated OOC is just amazing. I'd like to hug them all.

Tyress : If you have been in more then one federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Lady Tara : I've only been in HAWX and DCWF. I'm loyal to feds. I'm not one for jumping ship.

Tyress : Do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling and why?

Lady Tara : Yes, Nina cause shes sweet and knows her stuff , Horses cause shes as crazy as I am , Scar cause she's the sweetest girl you can meet but in a ring, shes brutal ; Anarchy causes she's just insane , Arcana cause I want to be like her , Tiesa (Tiesa Piers - Lexenstar) cause she knows how to wow a crowd. TBH in all honesty, every female who steps in a ring. It takes guts.

Tyress : Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Lady Tara : I have idols. Triple H cause I based my persona as a female version of him. He took his character in a whole diff direction. Also, my name sake in TNA Tara. The females in RL are same as in SL, we work hard and yet still get underestimated.

Tyress : If you have a custom attire, what is it and what is the colors?

Lady Tara : Well, *smiles* I have a few custom outfits I wear. I tend to show my body more cause I look good. I tend to vary on attire, but i have a love of nylon and always wear pantyhose in my matches. My colours are black and purple.

Tyress : Any Special Match you'd like to see? if so between who?

Lady Tara : Hmm, tough one but if I can pick one, I'd pit Numbers v Curt Bombastic in a street fight cause they would bring the house down.

Tyress : As we know, there's a lot of rumors in SL wrestling; some are bad. some are good. What do you think causes these rumors?

Lady Tara : Greifers. Some seem to enjoy ruining fun for people and it's sad cause we are here to have fun and work hard on putting on good shows. So they either try to crash sims or make rumours.

Tyress : If you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Lady Tara : 1 DCWF - cause I fight there and they have been so nice to me. 2 - HAWX cause it's an all female fed and the best females are there. and 3 - IW it's a new fed, but I've seen the shows and they do great work.

Tyress : What is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"?

Lady Tara : Friendly. Sure, in the ring, we are all business. It's part of the show but behind the scenes we help each other. No matter what the problem, some one will help and we support each other. It's why we are strong cause we care for each other. At end of the day, all we want to do is help and have fun.

Nova's interview with Rubie Jules

I'd like to thank Rubie for taking her time to make this interview i am sure you all will enjoy it and i hope you all missed the interviews! well they are back and will keep on going until the 1 year! so lets start!

give us a small introduction about yourself

Rubie Jules: Hi! My name is Rubie Jules and I am the Glamour Girl, VWE Bombshell and Manager

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Rubie Jules: As I already mentioned I'm the Glamour Girl. I picked the name out myself because when I was still new to the world of SL wrestling I pictured my character similar to WWF's Marlena. I wanted to be very classy and glamorous so the name just worked for me.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Rubie Jules: Well I had always been a big fan of the Sims games and eventually that drew me into PlayStation Home. It was allot of fun and I'd read the forums often and see people talk about Second Life every so often, that made me curious so I researched SL and eventually decided to play for myself. It didn't take long for me to abandon PS Home and focus on SL only.

How did you get into SL wrestling?

Rubie Jules: Before I found out about SL wrestling I had been a fan of RL wrestling for a whole decade. I had searched for WWF and WWE in SL but that didn't get me closer to SL wrestling. One day a friend of mine from a rp sim asked me to see her house and it was decorated like a wrestling arena. Turns out she ran a pose ball wrestling fed in SL and told me a bit about it wanting me to join. I didn't think it was for me, but it helped me learn about wrestling in SL which led me to search further and eventually find 2 feds I was interested in XWA and DCWF. Soon after I applied to both feds, but never heard back from DCWF and while watching a Loody Graves promo it really inspired me so we got to talking and he hired me in XWA.

How Did you debut in the ring? (First Ring appearance)

Rubie Jules: Well I had made a few appearances managing Vodka Doomdale while still a rookie, but that was just me trying to run before I could walk lol. I made my bombshell debuted in a XWA women's championship match booked by then GM Akasha Faulkes in her attempt to screw with then champion Vendetta. Of course I was just a rookie bombshell so I should pose no threat to Vendetta, but the match revealed my association with the newly formed dominant faction at the time Impac Mafia. Vendetta retained the title, but the whole thing provided me with an impressive in ring debut match.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Rubie Jules: Like I said I had been a long time fan of RL wrestling. My brothers and I would play SD vs RAW games at home and I'd often play a diva as the manager or special guest referee lol. Anyway once I found out that SL had wrestling shows I knew I wanted to be part of that.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Rubie Jules: I don't think about that much, but I guess you could say I do, but it's not just a single achievement. First goal (in no particular order) is to one day hold the HAWX title again; nowadays HAWX has a much more diverse roster than when I was around so a part of me wants to see if I can hold the top championship in a fed full of top female wrestlers from various feds. My second goal to show the fans of SL wrestling that just because a female wrestler wants to be a "Diva" type it doesn't mean she can't also be a bad ass in the ring and even if my character is vain and beautiful and blond that doesn't mean she can't be a just as impressive as someone who would rather act all tough all the time. And last but not least I'd like be remembered as an entertainer and not necessarily the most awesome wrestler to ever step foot in an SL wrestling ring lol. I say this because in addition to putting on a good match fans watch wrestling to be entertained by characters and stories and that's what I love most about wrestling  and what I focus on most as a wrestler.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Rubie Jules: I think what makes me special is that I don't take myself so seriously. I know what I could do and say that would make me appear more legit as a wrestler and more around the lines of a Jenn Parkin or an Anarchy Fang or even a Nanny Gothly, but that's not what my character's about. As a heel I'm there to be hated and to make the faces look good or mop the floor with them at times, but not everyone is the same or should be the same. I don't like to insult the fans often (IC) because I get allot more heat just acting self absorbed. Rubie Jules in the high school cheerleader who was always making fun of the geeks and getting the nerds to do her homework for her so she could have more time to party and hang out; someone who later grew up to be the head of the sorority who'd humiliate pledges and all the guys wanted to date. Being the top wrestler isn't the most important thing in my character's life, but don't you just hate it that I have everything I want?

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Rubie Jules: Currently I use Beauty's Deadly Cut which is a bicycle kick and the Twist of Beauty which is Daffney's old finisher Lobotomy

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

Rubie Jules: I started in SL wrestling in January of 2009 so about 2 and a half years now

do you have any Dream Matches?

Rubie Jules: I haven't gotten to face Vendetta many times since I started wrestling so I think with how my character has grown throughout my time in SL wrestling a rematch would be pretty cool. Jenn Parkin mopped the floor with me the only time we faced each other so a rematch would be good too. I don't think I'd beat Jenn now either, but I'd put on a much better fight than I did our first time around and gimmicks aside we're both talented wrestlers so it would be a great match. Besides those 2 I might want to face either of the Style Queens to see if their style can match my glamour lol.

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

Rubie Jules: That's such a hard question. I'll go with 3 seen which would be the Bryce Ketterley vs Adune Snowpaw Hangman's match, the Falls Count Anywhere match between Nanny Gothly and Elisa Riddler which resulted in Nanny falling down a waterfall and being missing for months and Benbe Kirax vs Seth Cameron (the one that led to Benbe's real title reign not the champion for a minute one lol)
Rubie Jules: My 2 been in matches would have to be Nanny Gothly vs myself in a lingerie pillow fight at HAWX. I think it was the first time that match had been done in SL and we provided alot of wrestling action in it in addition to the sexy lady action lol. My second would have to be you (Tyress Serevi) vs myself in the golden cage match at Wrestleseries 3. We had a good feud going on, the match itself was awesome and it went towards my goal of showing people that "Diva" types can still be tough.

How long have you been in your current Fed?

Rubie Jules: Well VWE's the first fed I joined when I started wrestling and since I started wrestling 2 and a half years ago that means that's the time I've been in VWE too.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Rubie Jules: In 2010 (year of my debut) I became the first VWE Bombshell Champion and I held the title a second time that same year becoming the first Bombshell to hold it twice. The same year at the Golden Rope Awards I was awarded the trophy for Rookie Bombshell of the Year and Manager of the Year. In 2011 I became the HAWX champion at the beginning of the year and the VWE Women's Champion at the end of the year.

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Rubie Jules: I'd love to have a heel stable with Bryce Ketterley, MadMax Vaher and Stuart Warf and from other feds I'd include Numbers Rossini cause he makes me laugh when he commentates

if you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main event?

Rubie Jules: I'd pick Drewski Hoxley vs Loody Graves vs Benbe Kirax. Those 3 know how to tell a story and would put on a hell of a match.

who trained you?

Rubie Jules: The man I happen to manage now, the cornbread eating big baby of SL wrestling Derrick Cult.

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Rubie Jules: I would say my top moment would have to be when I helped Seth Cameron betray the rest of the Impac Mafia. It was just a very unexpected moment as far as stories go and it was alot of fun to do.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Rubie Jules: I'd like to thank Derrick Cult for training me as well as he did, Nanny Gothly and Vendetta for giving me as much freedom as they did in HAWX, Shinja Ugajin for offering me his insight into SL wrestling from his long experience in this world and Benbe Kirax for always believing in me and sticking up for me.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Rubie Jules: XWA/VWE and HAWX

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Rubie Jules: I would have to say Shinja Ugajin. He's been around a long time and he's seen it all and done it all, but I'm still amazed at all the great ideas he comes up with. It's like he just doesn't run out of ideas lol.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Rubie Jules: As a character I've always been inspired by Sable's gimmick and the way she handled herself. She never pretended she was the top wrestler and wasn't sold as such, but she still managed to be entertaining to watch. I also recently found out about a retired indy wrestler named Lana Star and have become a fan of her work even though she wasn't around very long. As far as wrestling ability goes I'm inspired by Gail Kim and Tara (Lisa Varon) because they're both awesome wrestlers and age hasn't slowed them down at all. Trish Stratus is also an inspiration of mine and has really proven one of my goals in SL wrestling (Diva types can be tough too), but I mention her last because she's become such a cliche answer.

what is your Attire made up of?

Rubie Jules: I don't have a single attire that I wear all the time, but I mostly wear combinations with black and pink, often black tights and pink tops. My character wears pink often as a connection to Barbie lol, rather than running away from the stereotypes I embrace them in a way because who's to say Barbie can't have a black belt in Karate?

as we know there is allot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Rubie Jules: Lots of things cause these rumors, there's no single reason for them. Some people start rumors out of jealousy, others because they just want bad things to happen to a specific wrestler or fed and some are just bored and are amused by all the drama these rumors start.

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Rubie Jules: I'm not going to name 3 that are the absolute best because what's best is a matter of perception so I'm just going to name the feds I enjoy watching the most which are VWE, DCWF and HAWX.

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Rubie Jules: It's a crazy and wonderful place lol. As with any community in the world it's never going to be a perfect place, there will always be people or entered feds who hate other people or entire feds and wish them harm. You can't cure stupid so I for one would rather focus on the positive side. There was a time when VWE was an outcast in the eyes of most in the community, but things change and now VWE's well received and new feds have become the persona non Grata so to speak. You can't please everyone so just focus on having fun and providing the fans with the best show you can and leave the drama to those who just can't live without it.

Tyress: Ten Question Game! i will say 10 names/words say the first thing that pops up in your head..

Dead End Predictions With Rubie Jules

Match 1:

Lee Valentine Vs Savannah Mohegan Who do you think will win and why?

Rubie Jules: I think Lee cause she's the veteran wrestler. Savannah's been around a long time, but Lee's more experienced in the ring.

Match 2:

Lily Martines Vs Nanny Gothly Who do you think will win and why?

Rubie Jules: I'm going to say Lily because she wants it more than Nanny I think.

Match 3:

Tag Team Championship 3-way match! Current Tag team Champions Struk brothers Vs Bad Intentions (Derrick cult & Jackson doune) Vs The Aussies ( Josh Poffo & Xander Lucas) Woo do you think wins and why?

Rubie Jules: I think my boys Derrick and Jackson will win. Both Derrick and Jackson are former World Champions and the Struks just don't have it in them to beat them this time. The Aussies have allot to prove before I can predict them winning a championship match.

Match 4:

Braden Karsin Vs Michael Karsin in a Loser leaves VWE Match who do you think will win and why?

Rubie Jules: I predict Braden will lose. He's a talented wrestler, but he hasn't appeared as convincing to me as Michael has.

Match 5:

Christina Krovac vs Tyress Serevi VWE Women's championship Rematch who do you think will win and why?

Rubie Jules: My money's on Christina. That girl's really changed for the better and I'm sure she has some underhanded tricks up her sleeve in store for Tyress.

Match 6:

Benja Nirvana Vs Cody Houley VWE World heavyweight championship who wins and why?

Rubie Jules: I think Benja will retain this time. Cody's well on his way, but I don't think he can beat Benja just yet.

any last words?

Nova's Special Interview for Give Back

This interview was a request made by Numbers that I thought was a great idea if you have any questions or want to know more about Give Back 2012 this interview should answer most of them! Enjoy!

What is the name on this Big Event?

Its Give Back 2012 foo. lol I keed.

How did you come up with Give Back?

Well, it's kinda what we are doing isn't it. I wanted something that sounded less hokey but it fit.  Ironically just a few days ago I found out it was also the name of a charity music festival here in North Carolina.

What Is Give Back?

It's the mother of all wrestling cards.  Its a chance for those who are willing, to sign up and get in some pretty huge matches. Crossbrand matches we haven't seen before and may not again for a long time, if ever.  More importantly though, it's a chance for us to lend our 'celebrity' to a damn worthy cause, Relay For Life.  The work they do for cancer patients and cancer research is phenominal. We've all known someone with cancer or maybe some of us have even had it ourselves.  Sadly it unites us to some degree, so why not unite to help battle it.

What Date and Time will the Event be at?

The event will be this weekend Sat and Sun June 16th and 17th respectively, the Saturday time is up in the air as we speak but we are kicking off at Noon on Sunday for sure.

What is the Goals of Give Back?

It has several, first and foremost is to raise money for Relay For Life.  They cover so many different areas that I know we have a huge potential to impact a great number of people.  Our reality is that we aren't rich or influential, but in SL we have the ability to do something here that many of us just couldnt in our real lives, its huge, and its humbling all at the same time.  If my Grandfather were alive today he would call it responsible 'virtual' citizenship. LOL

In a close second to that though we get a chance, even if its just for a bit, to put aside some of the differences we have and do what many of us obviously love doing most in SL and thats wrestling.  When its over we will go back to our respective feds, get back to the business at hand, but I do believe we will have that Goonies moment when we can honestly say, that was 'Our Time'.  I think we will have a fucking blast.

Is this going to be a yearly event?

The response to it this year has been overwhelming.  It's already bigger than I honestly expected, so should things go even somewhat smoothly, I believe not only will I want to do it again but so will the rest of those participating.

What do you think makes Give Back Unique and extra Special?

It truly is the first all inclusive collaborative effort of its kind since SL Wrestling began. Every single fed is represented in some way. If I'm honest, I don't think a project like this could have been invisioned just a couple of short years ago.  It shows how we've evolved as a community.  Let Vince McMahon and Dixie Carter try and claim that lol.

What are your toughts on all the sign ups you recieved for the event?

Im scared as hell. LOL. No kidding though.  While it was overwhelming in a very posative way to see everyone jump on board. In our first year without and expirence at this under our belt, I'm going 'How the hell are we gonna pull this off'.  But I believe we will.  We have all the will and talent as a collective to do it.  However as a skeptical believer, I'm still biting my nails. :D

Since its a Charity event if you could put a Goal to reach on Lindens for Relay 4 Life what would you put the Goal at?

As for monitary goals, I'm hopeful that we will raise anywhere between 500 and 1000 USD at this event. Its a high number, but we're all talented, we SHOULD be aiming high.

Who has helped you with Give Back?

The shorter list is who hasn't helped.  Most people have come to me or those working closely with me on this to offer to contribute something. For that I truly am grateful to each and every one.

Who is the sponsors behind Give Back?

We got alot of outside help for this one as well which I think speaks to the worthyness of the cause we are helping here.

First off, the sim we will be on is totally free and donated by Zoha Boa of Zoha Islands.  I've know him since my first month in SL and hes always been a good friend to me personally.  Also, a handful of feds in the community have land by him, and some wrestlers have their personal land by him as well.

Second, the Saints of Hell Motorcycle Club will be putting on a live concert after the action is over with.  These are a great group of men and women who are passionate about far more than just drinking beer and riding motorcycles.  They always have something worth while going on at their sim and do their own RFL events every year. When I pitched em the idea, there was ZERO hesitation from them in comming on board.

Finally and definately not least of all the Green Lantern Corps.  These guys really are the glue of the whole thing because they will be providing the contacts with RFL and the donation kiosks.  DCWF did a RFL show for them last year and we had a blast. I totally look forward to them being in the audiance, they are great fans and great folks.

Since there are so many matches involved, what matches would you say is the matches you wanted to see if you had to pick 4?

I wanna see them all.  There will be many people at this event that I've never seen in the ring before. Admittedly I sometimes live in a DCWF bubble I'm so busy. So being there as a fan is really what Im looking forward too. I'll save the predictions for David lol.

Aside of the Goals of Give Back is there anything else you're hoping that Give back 2012 will achieve?

I'm a realist. I don't expect us to hold hands and sing 'We Are The World' with eachother from here out, nor do I expect that SL Wrestling will be a fully cooperative utopian community. Rivalries will always exist. However, I do hope that at a minimum we can find a new found respect for eachother out there, and maybe a new love and passion for the sport of SL Wrestling just by being around the strangeness, and newness of all of this.  Maybe, old cranky guys like me can get the opportunity to expirence the best of each and every participant, and we can see a diffrent side of one another for a change.  We've take the selfishness out of what we do with this event, we are truly exposed.

Would you mind explain what Relay 4 Life is to those that don't know?.

Relay For Life (often shortened to Relay) is the main volunteer-driven cancer fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. Originating in the United States, the Relay For Life event has spread to 21 countries.[1] Relay events are held in local communities, campus universities, military bases, and in cyberspace. Although the main objective of Relay is to raise money for cancer research and cancer patients, the event is held to spread cancer awareness, celebrate the lives of survivors, remember those who lost their lives to cancer, and unite a community in the fight against cancer.

RIGHT FROM THE WIKI BABY!!!!

I'm also told that its entirely possible that some of the RFL honchos and execs might be there watching, so NO BOTCHES.

Who was the bookers that planned the matches for Give back?

Nanny Gothly, Horses Morrisey, and Maxine Darkwatch did the booking.  I felt they had the best over all broader expirences in SL wrestling to know what would be good 'big baby' and what would not as far as matches go.

A special thank you to them as well because I honestly believe they did the impossible, which is book each and every person who signed up in the show. And they came in 2 days ahead of schedule. WTF.

What did the sponsors do to help out?

Well I menationed the sponsors and their role earlier.  But its honestly a more fair statement to say they are participants more than sponsors at this point.  Without their efforts it would just be a really long wrestling card, with no purpose, no aim, no extras, no location.

Would you say that Give Back is an achievement in SL wrestling History to have all the Federations togather for the same goal?

Wouldn't you?  SL Wrestling has alot of history, some of it good some of it not so good.  I can recall a time Ty where you and I wouldn't be talking just because of the tags we wore above our heads.  It's different now though. Some will still try to be divisive and may even succeed, but not at Give Back.

Anything you'd like to say to othe readers?

Giveback isn't about any of you or me, its about something greater.  Please come and show your support, bring your linden love, even if you aren't booked.  Not only will you see the most amazing card in SL History, you will be helping a good cause.

Do you think there will ever be another event beside Give back where most of the Federations joins together?

Who knows what other people might dream up and try? I can say though if anything, we are paving the way.  Hell if I'm 100% honest, the way for Give Back was paved by Nanny's first Tamsi tournament.

Anyone you'd like to thank?

All the little people who made this possible. Seriously, Im taller than most of you.  Everyone who has lifted a finger from just signing up to some of the heavier lifting is worthy of all our thanks and respect.

Definately thanks to you Ty for your blog and giving this event an extra opportunity to be publicized.

I will throw in a special thank you to the guy who thought this up. Benja Nirvana, there were a bunch of us sitting around having a few laughs about some stuff one night and he mentioned something like this.  This is more or less his idea, with his blessing, I just did the paperwork.

Any Last words?

Bring your A game people, the virtual world WILL be watching.

I'd like to thank Numbers for this interview, and I hope that as many as possible comes down to watch the Shows its not only good for the show but its even better for the Charity with Relay 4 Life! there will be so many matches that its almost insane!

Nova's interview with Ranma Yoshiro

I'd like to Thank Ranma for taking his time to make this interview Next week I will take 2 weeks break but next week is a special Interview with Numbers about the Big SL wrestling event coming up! you don't want to miss it!

give us a small introduction about yourself

Ranma Yoshiro: I'm Ranma Yoshiro, and I am a wrestler for DCWF.

IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?

Ranma Yoshiro: Currently, I am "The One Man Wrecking Crew". It came about when I wasn't getting over with my old gimmick, and I decided to create a new one from scratch.

How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Ranma Yoshiro: I was DJing for an Internet Radio Station, and they had started getting into Second Life and asked if we would come in world to DJ. That was over 7 years ago now.

How did you get into SL wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: I had been role playing with the Star Wars Role playing Groups, and became disenfranchised with how things were being run from within, so I resigned and a short time later I looked up wrestling in search, and found SLCW, which is now DCWF. I liked what I saw and applied and was accepted.

What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: I watched that first show at SLCW, and it was something new and exciting. I have always been a wrestling fan in real life, and when I saw that I could actually apply to be a wrestler, I couldn't get my application in quick enough.

do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: Well, I had always wanted to see more cooperation between the different feds. I had tried to do my talk show, Digital Wrestling Round Table, in an effort to bring the whole SL Wrestling community a little closer together, but at the time it wasn't something that was achievable. Now it's coming together more then it was a year ago.

What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Ranma Yoshiro: I think what makes my character more special is that I didn't base it on any one person. I created this character from scratch, and it's more of an original creation. I had even received compliments about how original it was.

Which Transformer is your favorite?

Ranma Yoshiro: I am a HUGE Transformers fan from my childhood, and I think I would have to say Optimus Prime is my all time favorite. He was strong yet humble, and a great leader.

Who Would Win? if Dino bots could Merge into "Extinction" Against  Devastator who would be the victor and who would be destroyed?

Ranma Yoshiro: Wow!! Now that is a good question. I think that the Dino Bots as "Extinction" would win, because I think the merging of all their animalistic minds would be a little too much for Devastator to accommodate for. Devastator components tend to form one mind where Extinction would have all the Dino Bots minds clashing together.

If you could pick One Dino bot to be in the Next Transformers Movie who would it be and why?

Ranma Yoshiro: Grimlock would be the one I would choose. He is the Dino Bot leader, and tends to be a little more rational then the others. How they would portray him would be tough though, because would they do bit of an update, or keep him as he was in the original cartoon. If they do original cartoon version, I'm sold.

what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Ranma Yoshiro: I have the "Wrecking Ball", which is the Canadian Destroyer Piledriver, and a new one I'm waiting to use when the time is just right. That one is unnamed as of right now.

how long have you been in SL wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: Right around three years now. I started back in the end of 2008 and left around the end of 2009 for real life reasons, but I came back in July of 2010 and still going strong.

do you have any Dream Matches?

Ranma Yoshiro: I never really thought about dream matches, but I would love to have a chance to go up against Benja Nirvana. He's a good friend, but we both work for different feds. I think it would be a hell of a match.

if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

Ranma Yoshiro: Time to strain the brain muscles. I see so many matches, it's hard to remember them all, because they are all exceptional in their own right. Me VS BigEvil in a Best of Five match for the DCWF Title was amazing. Benja winning the VWE World title was another awesome match. There are so many, it's hard to choose.

How long have you been in your current Fed?

Ranma Yoshiro: Close to three years now.

what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: I have been DCWF International Champion one time, and I am on my first run as the current DCWF World Champion.

do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Ranma Yoshiro: I haven't really thought into it much, but there are alot of good guys and girls out there and I think that whoever I did have a tag team/stable with, we would do a great job.

if you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main event?

Ranma Yoshiro: Now that is a tough one.
I'll have to say Drewski Hoxley VS Derrick Cult. I think the two of them would have an awesome match together.

who trained you?

Ranma Yoshiro: I was trained by "Kitty Kat" Kathryn Blackadder.

if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Ranma Yoshiro: I would have to say winning the DCWF World Title at WrestleFest IV in the main event. It was just so surreal when I won the title and the crowd went crazy.

is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Ranma Yoshiro: I would like to thank all the fans who come out to the shows. Without them, we wouldn't be where we are today.

If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Ranma Yoshiro: I have only wrestled with DCWF since I started in SL wrestling.

do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Ranma Yoshiro: Every wrestler in SL inspires me. They all work hard to make SL wrestling great, and that inspires me to work just as hard as they do.

Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Ranma Yoshiro: I would have to say Kane when he first started. He was a bigger guy that didn't say much and hid his emotions. I based my first character on him when I was "The Lost Soul".

what does your attire look like?

Ranma Yoshiro: I wear combat boots, ripped jeans, and a t-shirt. I just recently started wearing knee pads and wristwraps.

as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Ranma Yoshiro: I try to avoid the rumor mill, but I do hear my fair share. It could be any number of things. Someone mad cause something didn't go the way they wanted. Someone received the wrong information. I just try to ignore it myself.

if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Ranma Yoshiro: DCWF would be my first choice. It's the longest running fed in SL and has more straight wrestling action. VWE would be my second choice as they provide more of the entertainment side of wrestling. UHW would be third because they have built up a company that has a mix of both DCWF and VWE.

what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Ranma Yoshiro: If you would have asked me this question a year ago, I would have told you it was horrible. As of recently, it has gotten alot better and we are seeing more cooperation between the different feds than a year ago.

Who would win in a 4 way match between Megatron, Optimus, Starscream,Grimlock?

Ranma Yoshiro: Oh boy!!!!! I'm going to go with Grimlock. Brute strength and size are on his side.

Ranma Yoshiro: Nope.

Bazza asks:
Bazza Windlow what to think of the #flippyshit and what does it mean to you

Ranma Yoshiro: I think it's great, and it gives people a new platform to work with.

Numbers ask:
Numbers Rossini Rookie Rumble? Discuss!

Ranma Yoshiro: Well, it was myself, Number Rossini, Damen Doobie and Johnny Giha and it was our match to graduate from being rookies to pros. We all practiced that match and it was perfect, but SL decided that it just wasn't to be and we had so much lag. It turned into a bigtime mess. Numbers won the match, but had the worse lag and it looked like he didn't even really do anything.
