Nova's interview with Horses

I'd like to thank Horses for taking her time I had a blast hearing her story i think everyone will love this one I sure did! so enjoy the reading! if you're interested in being interviewed hit me up on SL or Facebook Tyress Serevi.

Tyress: give us a small introduction about yourself

Horses:  I'm Horses Morrisey. I've wrestled in SLCW/DCWF, HAWX, VWE and HKWF. I've been wrestling since early 2008 when Alpin first developed the ACPWS and i've not changed my act since.

Tyress: IF you have a nickname: How did you get it?

Horses: No. You've have learned that most nicknames in SLCW were blessed upon people. I was never blessed :)

Tyress: How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?

Horses: The BBC did some concert and they streamed it to SL. I thought i'd watch it in SL. It wasn't very good and I never used SL for about 6 months, when I decided to try it again when I was really bored one Christmas. I'm still here.

Tyress: How did you get into SL wrestling?

Horses: When I came back to SL I just wanted to do things I wouldn't do in RL, and Wrestling was one of them. I found some poseball places, which were ok but it wouldn't let you tell a story like I wanted to. When I found Ivan Halfpint (LEGEND!) and Alpin Criss (LEGEND!) SLCW I knew I'd found the place I wanted to be. Their system wasn't as fancy or as easy as the poseball. It didn't even work at the time, but it was actual pro-wrestling and was about story telling, moving around and putting on a show in a ring.

Tyress: What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?

Horses: : I enjoy the show, the story telling. Me personally in my character I think I get off on the Self-deprecation a little. But I do get a satisfaction from seeing the final show, all the hard work and the success at the end when people put on good matches. I do enjoy being booed too.

Tyress: do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?

Horses:  I enjoy where I am at the moment. I was ready to retire last summer but Nanny Gothly did something amazing for me, she wrote me the most beautiful future endeavours letter and released me from HAWX, which let me return to DCWF and wrestle some dream matches and really re-find my flame somewhat...
...I got to finally feud Paula Wilcox. This was a dream. Can I talk about Paula?

Tyress: Of course!.

Horses: Back in my original SLCW/DCWF run I was originally due to feud with Paula. I'd created a shampoo brand called Slampoo and I'd supposedly signed a deal where they paid me millions of lindens to advertise it, and the feud would end in a hair match. I left SLCW for whatever reason now and it never happened. I always regretted that and wanted to go back because Paula Wilcox is the most talented trainer in SL. She has trained so many wrestlers in SLCW and DCWF who've gone on to be brilliant wrestlers...

Tyress: that she has i know some of them myself

Horses:  ...She is just one of the most selfless people in Second Life Wrestling, who does so much more than people realise. Going back to DCWF to finally do that feud with her was a dream and we got to wrestle a British Style match, which absolutely fulfilled a dream.
That's enough praise :) lol  She broke my neck in SLCW

Tyress: hahahaha

Tyress: What do you think makes Your Character Special?

Horses:  I try to be the annoying heel who will insist on selling a product or telling you her life story from a book. I've never tried to be a diva, i've always been a sporting failure who's successes have tended to be flukes. At the moment i'm on new ground. lol.  Nanny is amazing. She carried a Horse for 30 minutes
I think she is smaller now because of it

Tyress: that would explain alot..

Tyress: have you always been a heel?

Horses:  Always. Although I got cheered at Wrestlefest and it was really nice. :D
And I am going to change my music back to My Lovely Horse

Tyress: how did it feel to Win the DCWF Women's title at Wrestlefest?

Horses:  Forever I said "it's not about titles, I'll job forever". When I won I was giggling like a little girl. I'm so shallow. I'm totally different now. Really arrogant. Everyone has to call me Miss Morrisey... It was great. I've had some shit times RL, I've had some great times over the past 4 years. This was really amazing and Nanny, Paula, Numbers, Vince, Saki, Kat and everyone else at DCWF. Love them for it.

Tyress: what is the name of your finishers and what are they?

Horses:  I have a scissor kick, which is like a Football scissor volley. It doesn't have a name over than Scissor kick. Although recently I put "10 Point Deduction Kick" in the commentators headphones to Celtdan as a joke.
He's a quote for the Style Queens (if they can read). I don't have a style :)
I'm a failed show jumper who used to do suplexes and now does kicks and paydirts.

Tyress: how long have you been in SL wrestling?

Horses:  From the start of the ACPWS. I wrestled Priscilla Mopp on the first SLCW show. A full blow by blow account of that epic is on my blog. I won the match (yay!) I botched the end (yay!) and I also won our 2nd match I think.
Priscilla was Sidney Washbornes girlfriend... and yes she could ropeshoot better than he could. I think February 2008
At the time I think we were the only girls Active wrestling girls
Monster Rob should have been first SLCW Champion. He was robbed. (no pun intended).
Misaki should have been the first SLCW Women's champion too
Yes. Instead of me. So they got both calls wrong

Tyress: Interesting Both of you girls deserve to be champion in my eyes.

Tyress: do you have any Dream Matches?

Horses: Dream matches...  Jerico 'Jelly' Scarbridge  That's the only person I've not wrestled. Most others I have can i talk about Jelly?

Tyress: sure

Horses: Jelly made the Nexgen wrestling system work for him like maybe no other wrestler in SL. There's no such thing as a boring Jelly match. The fans love him. He'll get them into every one of his matches and do it with his control of the features of the Nexgen. To some of the people watching it's a Face wrestler doing a really good act, but he is so much more than that. We could really have built around him, because a hot face, who can work and make everyone he wrestles look good... it is gold. Now he leaves us in a couple of weeks. That really hurts. I dearly wanted him to stay. I'd have loved him to help teach some of our new wrestlers too. But he wants a new challenge and I really hope firstly he's respected and allowed the chance to be successful where he goes, because if they build around him, they'll do great. And I hope he is successful, because he deserves it.
Bazza and Mythil are half decent too :)

Tyress: if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?

Horses:  My memory is bobbins, I can barely remember my own
OK. Saki vs Kat at Wrestlefest 1

Tyress:  my favorite match that i saw you in was you Vs elisa hair Vs Hair match that was just so well sold xD

Horses:  Funny you mention the hair match. My favourite match of mine in my time in VWE was a match I had against you. It was my first match back after the hair match. It was a hardcore match I had a riding hat on which popped off, you put a bin on my head too and hit me  I got battered, but it was great  I remember the helmet covering the bald head just popping off  I love matches like that, they are the most fun to do
Vince and Saki had a submission career match last year. Which Vince lost. It's Saki vs Vince - It's going to be great.
I'll remember dozens from HAWX and VWE later.
My drunk match with Nanny!  Technical classic We should have got gold medals for it  I was sick on Tonydatiger
If I remember any others I'll shout them.

Tyress: How long have you been in your current Fed?

Horses:  I was fired from HAWX and rejoined DCWF in May 2011  I never realised i'd been back there so long

Tyress: what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

Horses:  Had fun. Tried to put on good matches that make sense to me and help other SL wrestlers along the way. In terms of Championships. SLCW Women's Championship, DCWF Women's Championship, HAWX Championship

Tyress: do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?

Horses:  I've never given it much thought. It'd probably be a HEEL Nanny Gothly because we both have so much Heat on us. We could be called The Doghouse Girls and our video could be a close-up of Numbers face tutting as we walk out from underneath it. For the Stable, I think you could add... I dunno. lol
I have a puppet. Nanny could make one too I could finally come out on my Horse

Tyress: if you could be the Booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Main event?

Horses: : WolfPR from PRWW because PRWW Rocks. Vs Curt Bombastic, because he thinks he rocks, and he does tbf, vs JELLY because he's the best vs Shinja because it's Shinja. I'd make it a normal 4 way match.

Tyress: who trained you?

Horses:  Nobody really, but it was a totally different system to what it is today. I was given the show of the 1 or 2 by Alpin. From then on you were given bits of training from Alpin or Ivan and you learned with each other.
There was no targeting. Wrestler 1 attached HUD1. Wrestler 2 attached HUD2.

Tyress: if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?

Horses: Getting my head shaved in VWE was really good, Nanny firing me in HAWX was nice too. But i'm an unoriginal mark and it does have to be Wrestlefest 4 winning the Women's Championship. Also the Plexi's before because I won some awards for other matches, and I never win anything, so it was nice to be a winner for a day. So my top 1 moment was Wrestlefest 4 Day.
Hopefully i'm around at Wrestlefest 5 and I lose a loser falls in a bath of mud match or something. lol

Tyress: is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?

Horses:  It's a long list. Alpin Criss, Ivan Halfpint - What a legend! I'm no mark for Hall of Fames, but he should have his bald head in the DCWF one. Sidney Washborne Bear, Rob Bukowski, Shinja, Misaki...
Celtdan McMahon - Commentary makes and breaks matches and he has made so many of mines so much better than they were
Numbers - He looks like Ivan, he walks like a chav, "he's better than people says he is", A fine boss to work for and doesn't need a HR department. Needs to stop watching WCW though.
Everyone at HAWX. Without getting too personal, there was a point in my life a few years ago when wrestling at HAWX is all I had. Coming out and reading my silly little book chapters was my release. It kind of saved my life a bit. Its a bit silly to say that, but its true. I don't always express it, because maybe my character and my inability to drop it doesn't allow me to, but HAWX on a personal level has done more for me than they'll ever realise.
I told you my list was long :)  I thanked Paula earlier.  Ely too. And you and Jenn and PRWW's Crul

Tyress: If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?

Horses:  I've been in SLCW/DCWF, HKWF, VWE, HAWX

Tyress: do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?

Horses: Paula Wilcox as I said earlier. Misaki too. I wrestled her a couple of weeks back and I lost, as Champion... but it's Saki so you cannot look bad. She did this corner rope DDT move on me, it's so illegal! Nick Patrick Halderman in the crowd said something along the lines of "it looks like a Horse just got shot". He was right. Wrestlers like Misaki should inspire everyone to want to create a better and more complete style and gimmick (haha). She's also a great worker who started a few weeks after me. Also I have to mention Nanny and Vendetta at HAWX. Vendetta for innovation and being able to use a ladder.

Tyress: Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

Horses: Right now its all about D-Bry! I like Dolph Ziggler too. Christian too.

Tyress: If you have a custom Attire what is the colors?

Horses: It changes all the time. The only thing that's remained consistent is the Jodhpurs design. People may have noticed actually that The Lady Tara has been ripping me off recently. That's gimmick theft. I should report her to The Queen.

Tyress: as we know there is alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?

Horses:  Same with RL. People knowing part of a story. People wanting to talk. People wanting to know more of a story. Vindictive people. Bored people. I think things are ok right now. Things will never be perfect and maybe they shouldn't be, you need arguments to have make ups, but so long as it's over little things and important things like the community working together and going to others shows is happening.

Tyress: if you could name top 3 Feds which would they be and why?

Horses:  I'm not really into rankings, I think most of the feds now product very good shows and very good matches, but i'm bias and a total company woman so, 1) DCWF - Because I work there, we put on good matches and Wednesday's aren't only me vs the style queens 2) HAWX - Because I am going to hurt Kelley physically. The Chavs are coming. 3) VWE - Because its the VWE and it looks better than ever

Tyress: what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"

Horses:  It mostly rocks. There's some snobbery, but that's fine. I think I know what makes a good Second Life Wrestling show and I watch those and my gimmick is a gimmick that I want to be, not one a Fan Fiction storyline writer would devise. I think that's how most gimmicks and story lines come around. We're a community driven game where the expert is the person dealing with lag and crowd reactions, not the person learning to fall from a 20 foot ladder... learn how to climb one in SL because ladders will make you look like geeks if you don't script them or use invisible platforms. Not things you pick up in the RL.  I never said I wasn't the snob :)

  1. For those who didn't see it, I will attach Horses' dismissal letter from HAWX. When you read it you will understand why we had to let her go.

It is with regret that we announce the release Horses Morrissey (Real name: Donkey McHaggis) from the roster.

It was well known that Horses had attended the company sponsored rehab program several times, resulting in the doctors at the clinic needing to attend the company sposored rehab.

Horses was found smuggling in weapons grade cannibis and Mitch Hosselhaff into the facility for a night of raving and lusty sex. She would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling kids.

While this was ok in the old sim, the owners of MetaMix Island decided this was too much and asked the promoters of HAWX (The name has been abbreviated now to remove the word "wrestling") to release Horses.

Horses is best known for her work with Nanny Gothly, and Elisa Riddler. Since holding the HAWX title, though, Horses had gotten grossly overweight and pimply, and rarely washed her hair, and coworkers said she smelled of kippers and fungus.

HAWX wishes Horses best in her future endeavors in TNA.
