Nova's interview with Sierra Charisma

I'd like to thank Sierra for her time to make this interview. with how her week has been. I liked reading her answers and i am sure you'll enjoy it! so enjoy! and this counts to whole 50 Interviews! halfway to 100 thank you all for reading these interviews without you readers I wouldn't have kept going but like i said enjoy!

Give us a small introduction about yourself.

I'm the Heart Breaker, Sierra Charisma. I've been wrestling in SL for just about five years now. Been in DCWF, VWE...and my "little sister" was a referee in HAWX

If you have a Stage/Nickname, how did you come about it?

"The Heart Breaker" was just something I came up with while trying to think of something that portrayed the image I wanted to project. Sexy, but tough at the same time.

How did you find out about Second Life and made you join?

My RL boyfriend...he's away a lot so we used it as a more fun way to chat, years ago. Turns out he didn't like it, but I became an addict.

How did you find out about SL Wrestling and how did you come to join it?

A combination of total boredom and sheer luck....I wanted something to do in SL cause it was just fascinating to me, and this was back when the only options really were dancing, shopping, or hanging out. Just through coincidence, I ran into someone who names was also Sierra, and we bonded after we found out we had the same rez day as well. She was a designer and helped me get some modeling and spokesperson jobs in pose ball feds and I made some money but that scene wasn't really for me. Just through a search I found DCWF and was instantly blown away. I went to the old old arena and the first two people I met were Eric Stuart (who laughed at me) and Morpheus, whit hit on me xD. The best person to walk in was Lee Valentine who I was really inspired by. She was like super nice to me right away and encouraged me a lot. So I applied and I regret it to this day xD

What made you decide to join SL Wrestling?

The challenge. Ive always loved entertaining and the more I learned about the ins and outs of how the matches and shows were made I was like...ok, i have to do this, its perfect.

How long have you been in SL wrestling?

about five years...five...loong...years

What federations have you been in?

DCWF-VWE-DCWF...and Ive played a role quite a bit in HAWX but was never really an official member

Who was your trainer(s)?

I don't mean not to name names, but really, everyone Ive worked with up until this day.

Who did you face in your first SL wrestling match and what was the result?

Misaki...and I lost like all rookies do xD

What color(s) are your in-ring attire?

Red and black...that will never change ;o)

What is the name of your finishers, and what are they?

I have three. I guess the ones I'm most known for is the K.A.B.O. kick, and just to set the record straight, KABO is an anagram for "Knock A Bitch Out". Its Kofi Kingstons Trouble In Paradise kick. The impact move I call "The Downfall"...its a type of reverse Pedigree. My submission is "The Heart breaker Lock" which is a type of triangle choke.

What do you think makes your character special?

Well, I try to do out of the ordinary things. For instance, if I see something done the same way over and over, I'll try to do it differently. I innovate. I put a lot of thought and detail into everything I do. I know I'll never be perfect but I try to be. I practice rehearse all the time. I think that's what makes me stand out.

What have you accomplished in SL wrestling?

My first year in wrestling, I won "promo of the year". I was proud of that because I was still a rookie and that's what made me realize the "wrestling nerds" liked my work. In VWE I was Women's champion (in spite of them not having it on their wall AHEM! ;o) Also in VWE, I co-won Feud of the year" with Vendetta, which id have to say I was very honored because our names weren't Seth or Loody. ;o) Ive also managed to infuriate every fed owner Ive had, which is quite an accomplishment itself xD

What would you consider the top moment of your career to date, and why?

A non wrestling moment, oddly enough. After the match where I lost the VWE Women's title, i was approached separately by two different fans who said I inspired them to try wrestling in SL. One of them went on to hold the same title I did, and words cant describe how much that meant to me. I never did this for awards, having people entertained and inspired to try something new and exciting is something no one can take away from you.

Do you have a dream tag team partner and/or stable?

Ive very lucky, Ive already worked with my dream tag team partner, Lee Valentine. I do think Lee, myself, Lily, and Isabelle would own everyone though xD

Do you have any dream achievements to accomplish in SL Wrestling?

Yes, my dream achievement in SL wrestling would be to cut out all the drama, politics, and bullshit.

Do you have any dream matches, or wish for any dream matches?

Akasha. Hell In A Cell.

What have been your favorite 5 matches in any federation?

In no particular order: Celtdans retirement match just recently in DCWF which i was so happy that my "little sister" reffed. Akasha vs Vendetta triple cage match would be another.  Shinja vs Surik in the wooden cage thing was incredible. Lee vs Lily vs Maxine at wrestle series for personal reasons. Last but not least, Isabelle's farewell match from HAWX, another I was very happy that my blond alter-ego got to ref.

If you could play Booker for one day and could pick any wrestler male or female, who would you pick for the Main Event?

Shinja vs Mythil...that needs to go down xD

What would you consider the top 5 feuds you've seen in SL wrestling?

Alpin vs Eric and Seth vs Numbers ;o) Akasha vs Vendetta, Lily vs Isabelle...and i really hate to mention myself, but Vendetta and I really tore it up.

( SLCW Vs DCWF Thing and VWE Vs DCWF )

Who would you like to thank for being there during your adventures of SL wrestling?

Easy answer finally xD Id like to thank Naudia Nadezda for quite literally, being there. She's a true fan of what we do and she's figuratively been there for me since I started. She was the first ever outside person to compliment my work. Id also have to mention all the members of "Team Sierra" who Ive pestered to come to my shows and actually seem to enjoy it and get into it. Last but not least, Jack Citron for standing by me when I made a tough and unpopular decision. That's a real man. :)

Who inspires you in SL wrestling and why?

anyone who innovates, takes a risk with something new. people who I watch and say to myself "that's who I want to work with".

Who inspires you in RL wrestling and why?

I'd have to say my first influence was Melina Perez. She was the first RL wrestler I connected with when I started doing SL wrestling. She was what I wanted "The Heart breaker" be. Attractive, but not a "diva". Melina also has the skill to back it up, much like Trish Stratus. My biggest influence, which I like is somewhat obvious is Gail Kim. She innovates and thinks outside the box. My new "hometown" of Seoul is my nod to her. Recently, Also, I never thought so CM Punk has turned out to be a big influence recently. I can relate to his anti-authority, anti-bullshit personality.

What would you consider the top 3 federations in SL, and why do you think so?

no one could do this list w/out saying VWE, if for production values alone. HAWX is like the "little engine should have never" but just keeps going and turned out a lot of top talent. Also, kinda under the radar is VWWF. They're out there and put together a good show.

What is your opinion of the SL wrestling community?

Are you looking for a "pipe" bomb asking me this? xD Ill look at this two ways...Business and personal. Business wise, Celtdan was right. This whole scene needs a kick in the ass. Theres waaay too much politics, way too much drama, way too much rewarding friends and "family" and way too much giving the same people rewards over and over. Theres people who's time has come and they need to step aside for the good of their fed because they're holding back its potential. People shouldn't be held back because of petty nonsense. There needs to be more concentration on training the new generation of wrestlers not just how to do a rope shoot, but how to think. Think outside the box. Think of details. Think of how to blow the audience away. And if we did that, maybe we'd actually get a audience besides the community that actually comes to shows. maybe true fans like Naudia would come back, because each fed wouldn't just be a big "pat on the back" to the managements friends. If it doesn't happen soon, i fear for the  scene.
Personally: I guess the things that saddens me the most about what I just wrote is we ARE a great group of people. We ARE creative enough and we ARE smart enough to shake things up, but we've become complacent.  The SL wrestling community is like my SL family. We may fight, sometimes bitterly, but they way we all pull together when one fed gets griefed or when theres a charity show to do...that's inspiring. In spite of all the things Ive been called publicly and privately, I dont think anyone would accuse me of not loving any person who had the drive and courage to put themselves in a ring with something they created and not been afraid to fail. We are the most entertaining thing in SL. We need to start

As we know, there's a lot of rumors in SL wrestling. Some are good, some are bad. What do you think causes these rumors?

Honestly? Its the people in power. They dont like it when they're challenged, and that's one tool they use to get back at people. If we're honest with ourselves, imo that's the only answer. Your "workers" cant really do any damage with rumors. Its a one way street.
