give us a small introduction about yourself
I'm Paula Wilcox a short chubby blonde with the misleading nickname of Pitbull
IF you have a Stage/nickname: How did you get it?
I was practicing in the ring with Crul Nightfire when I first started wrestling and Alpin Criss said I looked like pitbull throwing myself at someone twice my size
it just stuck
How did you Find Second Life and what made you join?
I was recovering from a real life accident and stuck in bed with the dogs for company all day, and saw a tv report about a virtual world thought I would check it out
How did you get into SL wrestling?
always had an interest in combat sports and discovered that there was boxing and wrestling in sl , looked at a few places a found this weird gym place called SLCW where I was made to feel really welcome by the slightly strange giants that were throwing each other round a ring, asked how they did it and Alpin gave me a hud and showed me
I was hooked
What Made you decide to get into SL Wrestling?
It just sort of happened after going to SLCw a few times to play with the guys there and then watching one of the first shows I was asked if I wanted to take part in a show
do you have a Dream achievement to accomplish in SL wrestling?
that is a hard question for me, just putting on matches that people enjoy watching is what i try to achieve if I ever manage it I wil have to try something else
What do you think makes Your Character Special?
Never thought of my character as special just a bit different being short and chubby with a chocolate addiction, where most people are tall and slim
what is the name of your finishers and what are they?
I don't actually have any finishers as such, when I was regularly having to wrestle guys twice my size I used the pile driver twice to make sure they were down so I could in them and it got dubbed the Pitbull Piledriver by one of the announcers
how long have you been in SL wrestling?
I started wrestling for SLCW in April 2008 so 3 and half years now
do you have any Dream Matches?
No
if you could pick 5 Matches in any Federation which has been your favorites?
I have one favourite match and a few memorable ones but oddly my favourite match was an exhibition in front of about ten people between Cathy Gray and Emmett Firelyte, the match was well thought out ebbed and flowed and was flawleesly executed I was reffing it and thought why cant every match be this good
(it went back and forth the outcome was in the balance so even i was surprised when the winning pin was scored and I was the ref)
How long have you been in your current Fed?
since April 2008 so as long as I have been in SL wrestling
what have you accomplished in SL wrestling?
Hmm good question. Well I have trained a lot of people that have gone on to become stars and champions in most of the wrestling feds in SL other than that I can't say I have accomplished a great deal
I could name names but they know who they are even if they've forgotten me now
do you have a Dream Tag team Partner/Stable members?
My dream tag/stable member would be anyone that can put up with a slightly mad woman to work with, I partnered Misaki as part of Bite Club (Black Widow and Pitbull) that was fun
if you could be the booker for 1 day and you could pick Any wrestler male or female from any fed who would you pick for the Mainevent?
Despite my tag I am actually GM of Saturday Showdown so I get to book matches every week, but if i could book from any fed for a main event I think I would like to book Curt Bombastic v Numbers Rossini
who trained you?
Alpin Criss and Crul Nightfire
if you have a top 1 moment since the beginning of your Career to now can you tell us about that and why?
Being voted best women's wrestler in the DCWF voted by the other wrestlers and getting 23 out of the 26 possible votes ( I voted for someoe else) was a high point, then earlier this year when I was running the Warzone show and I put together a card that drew a Wednesday afternoon crowd of over 60 people and kept them there for the 2 hours of the show was a special moment too even though I wasn't wrestling
What Colour defines the Pitbull?
Blue, true blue
What Object represents the Pitbull? if you could pull it out from under the ring
well I never use weapons but do sometimes leave a spare snickers under the ring in case I get peckish
so it would be my snickers bar
Ty's comment: I need to go to DCWF shows more often if i want snickers bars...
is there anyone you'd like to thank for being there since you began your adventure in SL wrestling?
Lots of people Alpin of course for being the one to introduce me to this mad world of wrestling, Misaki who has become my best friend and confidant, but there are others Ivan Halfpint, Crul Nightfire and of course Katheryn Blackadder and Number's Rossini for thinking I was perhaps more useful to the federation than their predecessor thought
If you have been in more then One Federation how many have you been in and what was the names?
I have only ever been in one DCWF/SLCW despite being offered the chance to run things at Rage when Rage wrestling was launched
do you have anyone that inspires you in SL wrestling? and why?
I have to say Misaki or she'll bash me
Do you have anyone that inspires you in RL wrestling and why?
Yes but you probably have never heard of her, Mitzi Mueller she was the first woman to be allowed to wrestle in public in London
I was amazed at how gracefull someone could be whilst bouning someone else around a ring
and that she took on the establishment to be allowed to wrestle professionally in London instead of in small towns all over the country
If you have a custom Attire what is the colors?
All my ring wear has been custom made by Misaki for me at the moment I am going through a pink and black stage
as we know theres alot of rumors in SL wrestling some are bad some are good what do you think causes these rumors?
Well a lot of the bad rumours are caused by people coming in halfway through a discussion having missed the beginning then telling someone else that part of a story, the problem is a lie is halfway around the world before the truth has its boots on, and that then causes a lot of stupidity
what is your opinion on the "SL Wrestling Community"
a big dysfunctional family that I often think could do with a good shake or smack round the earhole to behave
